Hmm... may be bandai should make a water decal version for all kits and have them p bandai. Then open orders once or twice a year.
*
Actually this is what they're doing, if u notice the recent release, p bandai mostly gave u water slide, even worse for the PG unicorn and Banshee, they're telling u to buy the P Bandai add on if u are keen on the water decals instead of ugly stickers shakehead.gif

QUOTE(heally82 @ Nov 3 2015, 10:18 AM)
ohh... so thats the plot they going after...

giving water decals and said this is premium shit...

believe me pretty much most decals can print yourself, even other specialized decals like gold decals and white decal i buy from china for a few rm only instead of rm20 above from bandai

not that i dont support ori but when you try to do shitty things people will smell your shit...
*
I used 3rd party decals on Unicorn and Sinanju, while Nu and Sazabi Ka came with water slide.
From what i can tell, there's con and pro in both version.

3rd party decals has very thin film and it's almost not visible after u apply them, slightly dull color compare to ori and some decals might not be as accurate.
Ori decals is great, only con would be the film been much thicker and easily spotted when u look close enough.

However, i regret applying stickers on the RG astray, didn't expect 3rd party to be so efficient these day, saw the water slide from Gundam.my after only 1 month of official release.

Don't mind using 3rd party but certainly if Ori are water slide, it's a bonus add on.

Royalties, licenses, R&D costs.

Bootlegs don't cover those.
*
well im dont mean that those new kits but only decals, pretty much i source the picture and logos online or sometime phtotoshop my own design and print out.

so if water decals also need all those you have mentioned then really like shoot a cannon at a mosquito...

ohh well when they see still have people buying why care so much?

I mean I apply stickers cos I didnt expect third party to be released so soon, ntg wrong other than it probably looks way better than the stickers
ATM am wip-ing RG Zaku-II, used the stickers since can't find 3rd party decals, i always wonder why RG stickers has this greyish surface, which looks very revealing compare to MG stickers even after i try rubbing it with cotton bud to exsure no air trap between, very visible especially on dark surface.

any idea how much usually online store like AMIAMI or HobbySearch charge for MG?
Feel like getting the RX-78 Origin instead of waiting for local release.
From my estimation it seems to be around rm30-40 extra

if you use ship way and wait 3 weeks to 5 weeks then should be around or rm20 extra. if you bundle with other kits the price tend to further go down from there...

my advise is hold your desire and wait for cheaper option on mandarake, there your can get fairly new kits for 200 to 500 yen cheaper and mg box will cost you around 1600 yen delivery.

so at the mean time look for other interested kits to share shipping cost also a smarter option.

got my hyakushiki and rg red frame by pre order basically sometime equal or rm50 more expensive than you hold your desire...

theres a price to pay you if touch the sizzling hot items...

Ntg to build at the moment, that is why i end up getting little RG green zaku sweat.gif
That's after i browse GA for almost an hr and still don't have any desired items
U guys had mentioned that the fastest GA getting stock is about a month, means RX-78 will only be available around dec sad.gif

haha, I have a backlog of model kits to build but i'm just feeling lazy to build after Nightingale.
Have patience, they'll come when they do.

I think it's a problem that i started gunpla again after years
There's plenty of UC model that i like which i didn't buy back then, but the echo of "there will be a 2.0" keep ringing in my mind
After seeing Nu and Sazabi get "2.0" treatment, i wish to have those really old MG to be refined (08th Team & 0083 in particular)
Kinda not having any interest with alternate century gundam at the moment.

but when there are so many research concept folder in your database and time is require like squeezing cleavage out of men chest, you will think like this is turning into sodomy or rape where something suppose to be enjoyable ended up forcefully...

i think lots of projects concurrently running and going to be out of hand:

shin dryon drei wip
diablo gundam detailing and water decal customization
rick dias kai water decals application and top coat
red frame kai recolor
background base led addition and color application
arduino powered bluetooth controlled rgb smd led

and the buying still kept goin, you can imagine how messy my workshop now...

yeah, i know... but when you have kids lots of workscope need to separate out, these projects mainly accumulated because rainy days and lack of time during weekends...

so a lot of paint job can be done with 1 to 2 hour time slots also in a non rainy days, and i started off short timeslot projects including the led one.

as for the water decal application mainly waiting for suitable decals design and concept thinking but now kinda like simple apply normal warning signage will do...

by the way the base has successfully redesign led pcb on the running light portion, but the breathing lighting pattern on uv led still a mess (kinda figuring the correct voltage on the pcb i had bought), but once this project is a success sure will look tremendous on my luminescence kits so let you guys know when its completed!!
