Wondering what are the kit for RG they will release in the future, will it come out Unicorn ?  hmm.gif
*
judging from the existing rg technology would be less likely to release unicorn with tranformation gimmick, if they do really interested on how they gonna achieve it.

even if they do, im gonna wait until reviews come out coz i believe goin to be lots of flimsy parts coz rg design encourage snap fit with sufficient color separation.

most rg already easy missing tiny pieces you can imagine gonna be worse for unicorn...

so i am hoping for a sinanju rg or at least some zeon rg... enough with the seed series already...

People wondering what is the next RG and for me, wondering what will be the next 7-11 limited edition.
Still awaiting for them to release 7-11 edition Sazabi as most 7-11 version are base on gtf version plus hi vu already out..

Will be amazed if suddenly come out with RG Zeta 7-11 version..

So it starts again, the guessing game of RG once the latest one is released. This is futile and we all should just give in to Bandai to kick our asses.

My latest haul, I'm a sucker for clear plastic biggrin.gif and the minimalist box art is very fetching.

The metallic frame and clear body is a nice combo paid HKD580 or roughly MYR320

Got it from In's Point Hong Kong last week while on holiday.

prety colored clear. for full clear really can't see the details of the robot, only good if you really paint the inner frame to showcase it. but price are too much.

go to pasar road kl if you want it urgent, i bought mine from taobao, smd led 200 cost you a few ringgit only the only thing is whether you able to solder it or not...

if you can pull it off rg hg even hg unicorn you also can add led coz its like only 2 to 3mm in size only... im still tryin anyway burned a few already gotta change to sharper solder gun...
*
smd is too small for amateur solderers. however it's the only option for things like signal lights. you need special magnetic solders & good solder gun and surgeon like hands to pull it off and only takes a jerk to pull everything loose. it's designed to be mounted on boards instead of solder.

a 2mm LED would be a better option.

my solder gun is so bad, either it's the solder or the gun, that i gave up soldering and just wrap the pins with wire and tape them together.

btw for cheap stuffs like LED just buy from ebay 100pc LED only cost you around rm10 can give best offer somemore, China sellers. many colors, many size, few shapes, blinking/dual/triple color changing/flashing, even wires i buy from there since hard find think wires locally. price wise confirm cheaper than Jalan Pasar. i mean 1 LED cost only 10cents.

while you at it don't forget the Resistors, bought from China mix starter pack, comes in set of many different ohms. also battery holder, micro switches.

Also don't forget the tiny handrills for making holes for wires. bought from ebay chinese seller made in Japan. Ace hardware smallest drill is still too big.

owh, I guess I misread your statement. After reread, then understood smile.gif

Thanks.

By the way, this is for Char Zaku. Maybe can be used for the green one too?

Why not buy from Samuel Decal, they have decals specifically for Char & Normal Zaku's & few ace Zakus.

Actually this is what they're doing, if u notice the recent release, p bandai mostly gave u water slide, even worse for the PG unicorn and Banshee, they're telling u to buy the P Bandai add on if u are keen on the water decals instead of ugly stickers shakehead.gif
I used 3rd party decals on Unicorn and Sinanju, while Nu and Sazabi Ka came with water slide.
From what i can tell, there's con and pro in both version.

3rd party decals has very thin film and it's almost not visible after u apply them, slightly dull color compare to ori and some decals might not be as accurate.
Ori decals is great, only con would be the film been much thicker and easily spotted when u look close enough.

However, i regret applying stickers on the RG astray, didn't expect 3rd party to be so efficient these day, saw the water slide from Gundam.my after only 1 month of official release.

Don't mind using 3rd party but certainly if Ori are water slide, it's a bonus add on.
*
Sticker is more user friendly for average buyers, whom just aren't as skill as you, even the Rub on decal i cut the whole piece and glued it onto my 1st MG. Since menu were in Japanese and 1st time i've seen rub on decals. I was wondering why they don't stick...

Most people would mess up the water decals.

Some normal kits did came with water decals though, but usually is special set.

3rd party decals, may be thin, but will they have same shelf life as normal ones before they become unusable?

wao thats a good deal you got there! then again if your a sucker on clear parts then your in a big wok that these line of kits always kena goreng even within japan market...

have you seen the macross vf-15 clear edition? i found that is a better design coz the inner frame details are much more comprehensive compare to gundam ones... then again have to add the color your own la.

tips that might help you, you can always hand paint the details with enamel paints and wash the excess off with zippo oil then only top coat it pretty much a safe bet coz in the end gonna be covered with clear parts yet will show the metallic color separation...

hehe i wont buy it unless i dont know what it is, its a challenge im willing to take coz the size is just too tempting. also i got the complete project plans and part all from taobao already with the price below rm30 i think inclusive of all leds, wires, resistors, aa battery slots, rechargable batteries slots, batteries and some pcbs.

as for the tools my existing gunpla modding tools already more than enough to cover it all, the hand drill with all the sizes, electric drill with all the sizes inclusive sanding.

so really whats left is only execution that require time. planning to buy solder paste and pcb etching kit set and use my company hot gun for future plans on the smd projects too...

finally dude the quote function bro else people will start bombard u again... press +quote on the one you want and click add reply...

Gundam Markers are not made by Bandai, thus Litttak do not carry this officially. There are markers sold at th expo, but I think it's more of a side business by the staffs.
*
I just killed of my 2nd marker in less than 5 months. i know there's still ink inside, but just can't get it out. i used it on painted surface and i know they will dry up the tip but i managed to get it running by rubbing it on paper frequently instead of wait until no ink comes out but i got lazy 1 day and next day no more ink... dipped it in thinner, paint came out near the head but no ink on the tip... really waste even though they cost rm10.

I tried Pencil & Color pencil, they can't reach narrow edges, and they don't look as smooth as markers. Good for light color parts but not dark enough on dark parts.

I'm not comfortable with wash technique. Any other good alternatives?

btw i actually like 3rd party decals as long as the details and quality is good enough, just it's really difficult to find a lot of varieties so far i only manage to get from site like Gundam.my or some seller here, but hardly see any seller that provide a huge range of decals product
there's some 3rd party from reputable company in japan, i always wonder if anyone selling them locally
