If not mistaken, the "7 years warranty, 10K free service" promotion is still on. The best place to enquire is Proton Sales Centre though.

im not sure how much for annual fee/membership fee probably (50~1xx).. cause i joined there just to see other owners review before i purchased my car.. and also to see any reported problem and monitor only.. while they got any issue, so i will check on my car as well.. but luckily, the preve i bought is no problem.. except 2 things..

1. new car 1st week got disc brake sounds.. (change disc rotor when 1000km service)
2. past few months (my oil tank cover hardly to open sometimes (due to cover alighment things, readjust it and now feel better) - got experience that cant open by myself and figure out to open it in petrol station for few minutes..

if you are from KL then maybe u can join group there and know some friends.. but im from penang.. self DIY and syok sendiri will do.. no hardcore mod for my car.. normal use.. DIY also paste some preference stickers like that only..

Whilst on this topic, my PROTON PREVE is entitled to the above 7-year extended warranty, but I have not even receive the EWP Certificate from Multi-Purpose Insurance as yet. Any idea why?

accroding to what i know , there's no certificate by multi-purpose
all is in proton system , you can try to call wecare to verify

I have even written to PROTON Wecare and they replied that the certificates will be sent out from September 2015. Until now I still don't receive it. Will write to them to check again when I'm free.

there is nothing you can do about it, just live with it.

I was told an "extended warranty" rubber stamp on the service booklet was suffice.

I think the 5+2 EWP basically extends the Basic Warranty Coverage from 5 years (or 150,000km) to 7 years (or 250,000km). Specific Warranty Coverage and Non-Coverage remain the same.

I'm aware that the whining sound is inherent in the car. It's just that it is now getting louder by the months.

Guys, my car will need to change the timing belt. apart from the timing belt, what are other item that I need to purchase? SC quoted me 1500++. So instead of going through them, i wanted to try to go to other workshop.

for the tint quality , this only really depend on your feeling.
if you always driving on hot sun , but still feel no really comfortable can consider change to much better tint.

Hi guys, the Preve stock tyres are GT Radial Champiro BAX2 205/55/16 tyres right?

I'm hoping to find out if any of you know where I can get a good price for the tyres around PJ/Selangor area.

I'm looking to replace the worn out front tyres on my Exora.

Called up a few tyre dealers earlier today, but to no avail. Hope you guys can help me out
