Dear Sifu,
If I put at gear N or P. I just hard press the petrol paddle on max, what I noticed was the rpm meter just go up to max ~3.5. May I know is this just normal? Thx in advance. Btw I had nvr tried before during drive mode :-)

you want RPM go up to redline? rclxms.gif

just to protect your engine and gearbox i guess.. you may test your top speed in somewhere very straight road.. see your RPM whether can over 3.5k rpm..

Thx all. Not really need the higher rpm reading. Just want to make sure this is normal and won't affected during necessary accelating while driving. Thx again :-)

normally 2k rpm around 90~100km/h.. 2.5k = 110km~120km.. after that should be 0.5k rpm to go up 10km/h.. seldom drive fast.. so not really know about that..

i drive 90~100km/h most of time just in rpm 2k where turbo just kick in..

good luck with that, I have R3 body kit but the front got damaged so it was removed but I am thankful that it was done coz now I am not afraid of my front hitting ramps.

Well the areas that I frequent don't really have many big ramps or bumpers, bonus to that. But when the time comes, I'll have to do the slow one-front tyre maneuver laugh.gif

You need to remember to stop. At least it would only scratch, not break.

Is the problem prone to front skirt only or the sides as well?

Maybe need to pay more to custom-cut aluminum plates to attach underneath the skirt doh.gif

Only front for me. Mine still survive with just scratches, with no further protection.

Does anyone here experience this phenomenon. Whenever you start your engine, the hazard lights come on automatically. I then need to press the hazard light button to switch the hazard lights off.

It does not happen every time I switch on the engine. Maybe once in every 5 times.

For a clearer picture, the hazard light switch is as below.

Very seldom but it happens nevertheless. I don't consider it to be a problem, just a quirk as my old Mitsubishi also had this issue.

Thanks for the response. I too don't consider it a MAJOR problem hence I did not pursue it much although I once filed a complaint at the service centre. They don't have a clue about the problem hence the problem was not fixed.

Well since it rarely happens, just let it go. I found it to be more prominent to happen during a rushed engine start up.

Last time it happened was early this year so all is well.

the way you start the car is wrong, you must follow 3 step rules: that is press the button twice, until the self-check light at odometer switch off, press brake pedal and push the button again.
