Dear fellow Preve owners,
I have to resort to social media since Proton is being totally unresponsive of my inquiries. I have my Preve under works at a service center for FOUR MONTHS already, with no proper repair schedule given. I sent my car in April 2015 and right now still waiting for parts to arrive. For a locally assembled car, I'm totally surprised that it turned out this way.
Even the service center aren't able to provide me with the answers since they have to rely on Proton for the updates. When I called up the customer care hotline, the operator gave me a shit reply "Encik kena tunggu service center bagitahu nanti". They're passing the ball to each other with me caught in the middle.
Worst thing is, all these while I have not received even ONE phone call or a personalized e-mail from any of officers to apologize and clarify the situation despite the problem coming from their OWN FAULTY PART.
Anyone with advise on this? I need to go straight up their management. Calling up WeCare/ICare is just a waste of time.

Hi there,
1. My car broke down due to a faulty part. It was a sort of a tube which leaked oil causing the whole system to jam up and now require an engine replacement. As advised by the service team, this particular part was supposedly recalled and should be replaced; however it was not taken care of when I sent my car over for servicing.
2. Currently in Wanija Service Center in Senawang, Seremban. The person I liaised with was Ms. Shahirah.
3. Can't remember the mileage exactly (heck, I haven't seen my car in four months) but it was a 2012 first batch.
Any kind of help is very much appreciated. I've resorted to posting on their FB page but not sure to what effect. Thanks in advance.
Your Proton Preve, is it the low spec model or high spec Turbo model? So your car is in the workshop for 4 months already? That is quite unacceptable to me. I thought Proton being a mass-produced vehicle would have plenty of spare parts, especially critical components (Having said that I am still waiting for the driver's seat replacement of my car which was almost 8 months late).
From my experience, the Customer Service hotline, either through emails or telephone calls is quite poor. THey don't respond to emails and I have sent them at least 2 emails which were never responded to. It is only an inquiry or small complaint but still they don't bother to respond. In you case which I regard as serious since the engine as malfunctioned which rendered the car to be not usable, have you spoken to the branch manager in the SC in Senawang? They should at least provide you with a courtesy car for the loss of use of your car.
I guess you need to call up the Customer Service and pester them to expedite a long outstanding problem that remains unresolved.
