Goloiov much better than Launch. Also Vpecker or VDM2 but their are old timer..

ELM 327 only genetic device that have limited common data obd2.

Price? Still can find below rm500 (depend currency exchange)
*
I have purchase one unit of Launch Creader 619 on ebay price RM400. Which have access to the SRS and ABS system, and also on board system control.

One question on preve or suprima,

Does anyone got face the issue randomly of no cranking when pushed on the start/stop button? off the system and on back, then only it will crank.

Means, after all the system self check, with the key inside the slob, brake padel pressed, Gear at P, handbrake engaged. No cranking on system when pressed on the button.

Does anyone face this randomly occur problem?

-Make sure green color at push start button light (when pressing brake padel).
-Even remote key are slot in, immobilizer system still locked. You can see that icon in smart display ( gear & paddlock symbol still locked ).
*
Hmm, Did not notice about it when start the car. Probably like what you said the immobilizer system is still locked.

And another things, Can someone help me to verify if the 100A fuse on the fuse box is connected + bypass using a copper wire? [attached photo].

why want to bypass like that? A 100A fuse was blown?
*
Well, I dunno how the wiring is being routed like that. as it is being like that when I got the car (Used).

So, from my logical thinking:

- Previously there was electrical issue issue on the car probably due to the oxidation on fuse legs.

- And there is high voltage error code being save in the ECU during checking.

- Might be previously this electrical issue drawing high current causing the 100A fuse to broken numerous time and they (Proton or Used car dealer) does not know/ don't want to solve the issue. and they put the copper wire there to bypass in the event if system draw a lot of current.

d fuck... those retarded people..

btw. I need to check whether it is a positive or negative connection.

There is possibility that it is a negative fuse connection as I read somewhere there is also fuse for negative grounding wire too.

100A fuse connected Alternator B+ to battery +ve terminal..
That why some batch car have recall about stater B+ adaptor.
I think your fuse 100A was blown.
*
Yes, the starter B+ Adapter has been replaced under the recall.
But, Was wondering if the bypass on the 100A fuse was done by proton due to some reason. If it is broken, then they should replace it and not using a copper wire to bypass it.

So, This is to update the issue on my car. should be the Final update already.

Last week when I driving, I turn on the advance diagnostic menu inside the HU to monitor the voltage. Then suddenly there is few seconds where the SRS airbag light is on, and battery charging light flickering., And I notice the voltage has spiked more than 15V.

So, I talked to the COSE head technician on the voltage spike issue and also the 100A fuse with copper wire bypass. Upon checking, they found the 100A fuse is broken and was bypass using copper wire (Which is believed done by the used car dealer), So, I choose to replace the 100A fuse and also a new alternator (Old alternator will bring for service and keep as spare for future use or sell off).

After the replacement of fuse and alternator, till now I never face any SRS airbag light or battery charging light flickering anymore. The other minor issue is the HU occasionally self restart (Probably the HU also having some minor defect itself).

So, all the problem that I face before is mostly solved. and will monitoring it to see if it will reoccur in the future or not.

Just viewed the Suprima forum.

So they said there is update on ECU & TCU for preve 2018.

Is it true and would it be applicable to 2012-2017 version of preve?

i found 1 problem this morning, my car got funny popping sound once in 10secs or more. Then sound went off when i shut off the AC, if fan running only no sound. Just now i tried stationary for like 5 mins also the sound gone. Was driving long distance this morning. anyone know what this problem might be? I just serviced aircon last week, cleaning filter and pump new gas.
*
Should be the expansion/contraction of the pipe where the coolant pass by... but so far i never heard such sound in my car.

but since you mentioned that the aircond being serviced before the problem occurs.. then most likely the problem is come from the process.

Just hope that the aircon is not serviced by some new bird technician.

Thanks, will check with them again during the next service and this time I'll go directly to their EON Service Centre instead of their authorized dealer.
*
No worry.. just go to COSE and they will changed for you FOC for first time (Even your car is out of warranty, as it is a recall parts). Took about few hours, as they need to test the car system after change the new hose to see if got any issue or not. and since you are there, then you can ask them to check if all the recall parts has been replaced on your car or not, if there is some part no being replaced, they will replaced for you FOC. the fan wiring harness is need a lot of time as they need to open the bumper to access.

ECU reflashing SB100465 is the latest fix update. There is no revision number.

I noticed on my SS smoother CVT clutch in upon gentle accel, engine response feels the same.
*
Yeah.. it feel like a bit different than before.

Dunno is it also due to I just changed the CVT oil during the update.

But can feel the acceleration is more strong and powerful like, although didnt notice any significant changes on the engine rpm..

Have to test drive few days then only know what kind of improvement is being done.

Hi Guys, my preve is 2012, and recently i just replace the timing belt in COSE. I noticed fuel consumption goes up from 9.1L for 100KM to 9.4L

is that normal ? thanks
*
Hahaha, did they flashed the latest ECU to your car, that's why the consumption increased?
