QUOTE(hlee91 @ Nov 17 2015, 09:25 AM) Seeking for HELP!! I received a replacement Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft but the problem is where should i send back the faulty unit??I contacted and Microsoft replied me "You should receive a shipping label and just re-use the packaging of the replacement device to send the original device back to Microsoft." but how....i been keeping the faulty unit almost 2 week... sorry for bad grammar below is the box i received [attachmentid=5321613] Just remove the replacement unit from the box, put your faulty one in. They should come and collect the faulty unit from you. QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Nov 19 2015, 10:11 AM) What do you mean by complete and normal warranty? Complete warranty includes accidental damages such as spill or drop.

Was at the Surface Pro 4 launch event at Glasshouse Seputeh -- a really well run event. Tried the machines there to my heart's content as there were no restriction (i even tried the lapability of the machine). Really impressed. Shall be getting them when the education price lands lol. New "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Build 1511" and "System Firmware Update" available for Surface Book.
Downloaded it, installed it, and turned all power plan settings back to default, and observed that the Surface Book now PROPERLY goes to sleep and hibernation when their criterias are met, and so far, no" display driver crash and recovered" message.
I've been having fun gaming on this Surface Book, ranging from game-streaming from Xbox One using the Xbox app, and gaming natively on the Surface Book itself, playing Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront. With settings set to Medium 1080p on Fallout 4 and 1366x768 on Low (in the case of Star Wars Battlefront, needed to disable the "display driver needs to be updated" message that blocks it from allowing SW:B to run on outdated drivers, since the Nvidia GPU on the Surface Book has its own proprietary custom drivers not install-able via GeForce Experience), the games are very playable. I was even able to game on game-streaming via the Xbox app while I was in Amsterdam, streaming from the Xbox One left running at home, although it was more playable on games like "Rise of The Tomb Raider"-style game than fast-twitch games like "Killer Instinct". Local streaming is much better and seamless though.

I bought mine almost a year ago when SP3 first launched in Msia. At that time, Microsoft Complete is not offered in Malaysia, not sure about now. The usual warranty is like 1 year + few random months hardware warranty and lifetime technical warranty (where you can contact them 24/7 for technical or troubleshooting difficulties).

QUOTE(lester @ Nov 20 2015, 12:17 AM) does anyone know if i7 spec also available now? It seems like they're trying to push out the preorders first. The MS stores don't have stock generally for walk in customers.
