Hello to all. I've been using my SP3 for 11 months now, and following this forum for just as long. Sorry if I didn't post much.
Anyway, I have a problem with my SP3. (It's core i5 with 8gb ram) The screen sometimes suddenly goes blank, usually when I'm watching a video. The computer is still running as the sound still plays, and it still registers touch input. But the screen just stays blank despite turning off and on. It only comes back on after I hard shutdown and turn it on about 30minuts later. And it takes longer than usual to turn on. Stress sometimes when doing work on it and lose my stuff.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any solution? Was thinking the problem would be resolved with windows 10 but it hasn't despite all the recent updates.
Or any suggestions where I can send it in for a technician to look at?
Thanks in advance. Sorry for long post.

Finally spent a day with my SP4. Here's my report on the battery.
It took me 2 hours to charge full 100%, around 2pm was fully charged for me.
I started using it to watch youtube for around 40 minutes while browsing other stuff, then I tried Steam In Home Streaming Fallout 4 and Rayman Legends for around 20 minutes. I downloaded a few games in steam that took me around 2 ~ 3 hours+. I then played some games for awhile, browsing stuff and just doing casual stuff. From fully charged 2pm, I used it until around 3am midnight, with the mixture of brightness low and power saving mode. Of course in between the 13 hours I got rest for awhile.

Just submitted the default screen flickering SP4 to the courier today.

Courier informed me it will take few days for the replacement unit to deliver back to me as he has been doing such arrangement actively for the past weeks.

Will check if got any dents or scratches on the unit and display and lodge a report again if not satisfied with the refurbished unit.

Got my replacement unit within just 5 working days only.
Unit looks like brand new without any scratches or dents.

Only minor problem is the startup screen is in Italian language and I have to figure out to manually change it to English (US).

So far so good tested using it more than 2 hours without any flickering but I guess I need to use it longer to further test it to the max before the 90 days warrenty expired.
