I just got my SP3 today, should I upgrade to Windows 10 immediately?

Any himt that the S3 with LTE version will make it to our shores?

If not i rather get it oversea. If so, will it come with international warranty?

Just got charged for my 512GB Core i7 16GB RAM with Nvidia GPU Surface Book. Converts to RM11950. Should arrive here by November 7th.

I accidentally drop my Surface Pro 3 today and crack.

I didn't have the Complete Warranty because when i bought this, the seller didnt know about it. I have normal Warranty for now .

What should i do

Just remove the replacement unit from the box, put your faulty one in. They should come and collect the faulty unit from you.
Complete warranty includes accidental damages such as spill or drop.

When did you buy yours?

I bought mine almost a year ago when SP3 first launched in Msia. At that time, Microsoft Complete is not offered in Malaysia, not sure about now.

The usual warranty is like 1 year + few random months hardware warranty and lifetime technical warranty (where you can contact them 24/7 for technical or troubleshooting difficulties).

You should use something that's capable of reaching 2A, if your charger can't push enough current. Then you can try making it charge by turning off your tablet and then plugging it in. So the charger has a chance of pushing more current in than it drawing it out.

Could be the cable.

But, I have used a Xiao Mi 20,000maH powerbank and its original cable and able to charge.

i try to charge with output 1A and 2.1A, both also failed.

i google and found out it needs to be higher than 2.1A.

so i go buy Asus Powerbank, 9600mah, 2.4A output. Now I can charge my surface 3.

not propriety one. different design compared to SP4 maybe. it can charge other phones as well. i can use 2A powerbank to charge my S3.

S3 require good powerbank and good cable, else it cannot be charge

xiaomi and asus powerbank is good enough, but good cable is hard to get

i have a small device to test the voltage output of cable

turns out a rm20 cable is better than a rm80 cable

I don't think it is about good cables bad cables but IINM S3 uses OTG, S3 might do some checking and request extra current for charging which not many powerbank is capable of supplying. If the cable is not OTG capable, S3 will only get 500mA for charging which is useless for S3.
I've never had this issue with my SP3... 

maybe time for driver update???? Or perhaps check if the card is properly seated in its slot, just in case the slot worn out???
