Changed mine to century marathoner for rm300 plus. Then went to claim warranty at sc and was honest to the manager, told him I just changed battery outside. No issues

Hi guys, my dad's Golf TSI MK7 has this some sort of honk sound while driving, even when the car is at standstill too. Not exactly honk sound per se, its kinda hard to describe the sound, also my vocab isn't that good. It occurs randomly, usually for a short while like maybe few seconds or up to like a min or sometimes in few short bursts.

Does anyone else face this issue? Also, theres a certain smell coming out from the air-con. I don't know anything about cars. Pls do educate me =).

Thanks

Hi guys, I'm currently looking to get a VW, budget under 90k. So it's either a brand new CKD Polo, or a second hand Mk6 Golf. Which one would you guys recommend? Need some advice from the VW sifus here... smile.gif

They install the microphone on the top compartment near the lights then install the 9w7 under the driver's seat. Then did some code programming with vagcom and its done. I didn't stay back and watch them install cuz went out to eat my dinner. All in all, was satisfied as I don't have to use AUX to play music anymore. Using the cable is so messy and inconvenient, most importantly can answer calls through Bluetooth now
*
Did you buy the 9w7 on your own, or did the RM150 include everything (install + bluetooth unit)? If not supplied, where did you get your 9w7 from?

No need, just drive the car normally after changing the battery, system will adapt itself
