I am going with non-FE cards so will wait a bit longer.

If I am getting from Canada, I order it online from NCIX, shipped to my friend's place.

He will return to Jakarta in mid July 2016, so I have to wait until then.

just saw it at lelong, Palit is selling 1070 for RM1999. so tempting! btw normally which brands do you guys go with? and does one brand are more desire than the other? i always like Asus but their pricing always above than the others. :/

I have used the Palit Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 (cooler replaced, Artic Cooling Accelerro Xtreme series). It was fine and I eventually sold it off to forumer.

I have usually preferred ASUS as my first choice but looking at how their prices have been over the top against other competing brands, I went with Zotac for my current GTX 980ti.

I am using Leadtek 660 Ti, still working fine. Now it is powering my 2K monitor (Acer XB271HU). Works quite well with HDMI, except for the display port. After trouble shooting, it looks like it might be cable or GPU card problem. The monitor's display port confirm working with a Macbook pro and different cable (mini display port). Display port is a requirement for G-sync.

Playing games on 27" 2K monitor is awesome ! 2K monitor is worth it.

Despite display port problem, I don't mind getting not so famous/popular brands like Palit or etc for GPU.

Note that Palit cards have only 2 year warranty

Shouldnt be much an issue but if you plan to stay 1070 for long then maybe you can take that into consideration

You'll have to order from Nvidia themselves. No other way. That's how I got my own two Titan X cards from them. I know what you mean by the box, it's pretty simple, no nonsense, and classy.

RMA-ed my GTX980 a month ago. Finally got back a brand new.... brand new..... 1080..... 1070..... 980Ti..... only a brand new 980!
