But in any case, let's just talk about RM 2k wage earner vs USD 2k wage earner. RM 2K you need to 1.5x to get a card while USD 2k you just need to allocate 1/4 of it and have change.

Doesn't have to be an office worker with high salary. Like goldfries said below, just earning a measly $24,000/annum and you can afford the GTX 1080 if you save up a little. Whereas here you have to save up for a long time before you can buy one with a RM2000 monthly salary

Yeah exactly. Let's say you save $250/month, you can afford a GTX 1080 in less than 3 months. Saving RM250/month and you have to save up for 12 months to buy one at the estimated RM3000 price.

Difference is, many don't have a 2k wage in the US. Most have a 1-1.5k wage on average. Why do you think so many students are already having debts up to their eyeballs before they even start working?

Also understand they have different tax rates on products in different states. You think macam GST 6% at every corner of the nation here?

The performance difference at least isn't as much as I thought. Still beast our 980ti, and still is, since 1080 isn't out yet

If previous releases were to go by, we should hear something by near-end Q4 2016. Titan X came out 7 months after the 980, then the 980Ti came out just less than 2 months later. Can expect the same timeframe I guess?

Ive never seen the price goes down for graphics card, yes they make powerful newer graphics card, but with price increase.

Because not many can afford 2 waiting another year 4 the TI heck i pulling the trigguh on the 1080 when its out coming from 770

also i am guessing my new rig this end of year will use the GTX1070 first (budget constraint) since its touted to be "better" than Titan X
