You just proved my point. If the lowest min is $5.15/hour, then $5.15/hr x 8 hrs x 20 days = still 824.
Haha lets talk salary By the way being HR field i love 2 talk salary

But in any case, let's just talk about RM 2k wage earner vs USD 2k wage earner. RM 2K you need to 1.5x to get a card while USD 2k you just need to allocate 1/4 of it and have change. Anyway, below is my speculation of the GTX 1080's performance, based on the chart available at GTX 1080 mini-site. ![]() Details at http://www.goldfries.com/computing/specula...80-performance/ |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ May 7 2016, 09:52 PM) Doesn't have to be an office worker with high salary. Like goldfries said below, just earning a measly $24,000/annum and you can afford the GTX 1080 if you save up a little. Whereas here you have to save up for a long time before you can buy one with a RM2000 monthly salary QUOTE(goldfries @ May 7 2016, 10:21 PM) inb4 income tax. Yeah exactly. Let's say you save $250/month, you can afford a GTX 1080 in less than 3 months. Saving RM250/month and you have to save up for 12 months to buy one at the estimated RM3000 price. But in any case, let's just talk about RM 2k wage earner vs USD 2k wage earner. RM 2K you need to 1.5x to get a card while USD 2k you just need to allocate 1/4 of it and have change. Difference is, many don't have a 2k wage in the US. Most have a 1-1.5k wage on average. Why do you think so many students are already having debts up to their eyeballs before they even start working?
Also understand they have different tax rates on products in different states. You think macam GST 6% at every corner of the nation here? Source: my wife lived in the US for 25 years, worked for 8 years. |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ May 8 2016, 12:52 AM) True also, atm I am convincing myself to wait and not upgrade. Wonder when the Ti will come out.The performance difference at least isn't as much as I thought. Still beast our 980ti, and still is, since 1080 isn't out yet But the gimping though.. might as well not update driver anymore Hopefully someone update and compare stuff about the gimping. |

If previous releases were to go by, we should hear something by near-end Q4 2016. Titan X came out 7 months after the 980, then the 980Ti came out just less than 2 months later. Can expect the same timeframe I guess? The performance difference at least isn't as much as I thought. Latest WHQL driver is the last driver I'm updating Ain't gonna spend countless hours trying to figure out how our Maxwell cards would be gimped (or not?). |

I actually hope it's not that soon(wallet), but soon is kinda ok tbh. Maybe price won't drop a lot lower if I plan on selling.Latest WHQL driver is the last driver I'm updating Ain't gonna spend countless hours trying to figure out how our Maxwell cards would be gimped (or not?). Yeah same. Last update for me as well. Keeping an eye on the gimping stuff just because i'm curious. Might update if it's safe base on reports.. Then again after that melting stuff going on back in the previous few updates.. sked already to update. |

If keluar Ti jangan jelly i think the 4 is "for" also i am guessing my new rig this end of year will use the GTX1070 first (budget constraint) since its touted to be "better" than Titan X |
