For those who are interested in the nature side of Cameron Highland, there is a fantastic website about the wonderful biodiversity of CH.

Click on this link to : REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS CAMERON HIGHLAND

Cameron Highland have lost most of its charm as a peaceful and serene getaway due to too many express bus coming up for day trip. The jam is super bad and stretched for 1 hour++.

Further everywhere there is hotel construction and too many shop all selling strawberry souvenirs.

If you wish to ensure Cameron Highland remain beautiful, support here : Save Cameron Highland for future generation!

yes t shirt n shorts will do doh.gif (bring jacket = extra) .. quite a disappointment as the weather there is not really that cold, but I guess the temperature will drop if there's a heavy rain or strong wind.

Just visited the boh tea plantation ytd for the first time.. the landscape view is just.. awesome wub.gif
the road into the tea farm is quite scary.. only 1 lane.. and a lot of car/bus honning sounds can be heard (to warn others abt their presence when cornering?? shocking.gif )

hmm duno where is this but i think its around the road to blue valley thr
duno wat happened, looks devastated

along my journey I also found out that a lot of mountain become "botak" already. Sad, strawberry souvenirs shop everywhere.. rclxub.gif

They say the hotel's pretty old. I usually stay at apartments when I visit CH.

Not a bad price for one of the better hotels for the holiday season. How did you book?

They have been talking about it for donkey years. It's still business as usual for the tourist industry.
With the type of District Officer to manage the council, what do you expect?

yep... I've posted my comments several pages back also.
It's nothing new, has been happening drastically since 20-30 years ago. Actually land clearing started even much earlier like 40-50 years ago, but people at that time are not that greedy, just small portion and not so big impact.

What will come in future?
- temperature getting higher yawn.gif
- more unpublished landslides yawn.gif
- ecology problem
- bla bla bla ...
