Where got resort in CH? biggrin.gif But if u mean higher end Hotels, U can try Heritage or Century Pine at Tanah Rata but the best is Strawberry ..for sure u need to up ur budget as the rate start from RM200/nite! (But if u get from agent/internet probably cheaper at RM150/nite)

I personally feel that Tanah Rata is much a better place to stay as it is more like olden day CH, less crowded, food is much more cheaper than Brinchang & relaxing...Brinchnag is too cormercialised and those restaurants there are lousy and CUT-THROAT!

I am going to Cameron soon and since we get such bad remarks on EQ, I was hoping someone can recommend me an alternative.

I stayed in EQ my last trip, last year. It was alright for me but didnt expect them to jatuh standard in such a short time.

never slept in hotel during all my trip to cameron.

bring my own tent n just pay RM2 per entry to the forestry department campsite at tanah rata. smile.gif

it would be nice if i could slept at the hotel with the golf course view.. looks like a 4 star hotel..

forestry department? where is the entrance and the payment office?

For honeymoon avoid Ranbow..u would not want to be wake up by the traffics below....It is located on the main street of Brinchang town..& amagine traffics going in & out ..smoke sumore...

I will recomend Strawberry but too bad it is fully booked.. U can try Heritage.not bad wth Tmnet wifi. Equatorial is the highest located hotel in CH also not bad but the facilities esp the entertainment centre beside the main road is totally rundown & not maintained at all! yukkk!!...

Interm of distance might not be far ~5km but if u dun have a transport u sure be cursing because it is located on the summit of one of the smaller mountain in CH!..so expect winding road from the main road..

Just went there last week.

Stayed in Desa Anthurium.. Quite a nice place which can be seen on your right side just after tanah rata heading to Brinchang. Look for the small signboard. You can see the apartments with blue roof.

Rent a penthouse for RM250 and stayed 15 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, astro equipped TV, nice and spacious balcony for BBQ etc, big enough living room, 2 bed rooms and 1 master room with extra beds. Only 3 people need to sleep on the carpet floor/sofa downstairs (bring extra pillows). The only problem is there are only 2 toilets for 15 ppl biggrin.gif

U guys should go up gunung brinchang at night...the road is quite narrow and lots of potholes towards the top, really adventurous and scary at night...Up the mountain there is a watchtower that u can climb up and can see the hills and the clouds...it's very very cold at night but great feeling up there.
