last time i went to cameron, i stayed at rosa pasadena at brinchang. very near to night market. the hotel was not bad. the room is clean & price is cheap with breakfast.

to make my holiday here more interesting, i join a tour group which i got the number from this hotel. i paid rm50 for half day tour. and then during the tour our tour guide told us if we add another rm20 we can follow the full day tour.. smile.gif **full day tour is about rm100 according to hotel package. so, better negotiate with ur tour guide. for the full day tour, we went to observation tower at brinchang hill where u can see 3 different state. then we went for jungle tracking at mossy forest.the view was awesome here. after that we went to tea plantation & others main attraction place in cameron and finally, we went to kampung org.asli & waterfall. it such a great experience. during this tour, we (me + 3 friends) were the only malaysian in this group.others are foreigner.. our tour guide also suprise when he pick up us at hotel.he said that he seldom have malaysian customer. biggrin.gif

Only apartments that I can think of that is nearby Pasar Malam and Pasar Pagi is Star Regency. Even better it is also very near the Brinchang market. Get better ingredients for your steam boat. rclxms.gif

Most of the muslim only rentals I know are apartments and the ones I've gone to don't have any BBQ facilities. I think you may have to get a bungalow if you want to do BBQ.

nod.gif The only muslim settlement I can think of in CH is Taman Sedia. It is a small village half way between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. I see a lot of homestays there and also a lot of locally operated chalets there and I am surre they can accomodate BBQ. There is even a strawberry farm here planted by Malays.

Check it out with Mr. Haji Ramli Mohd Yunus. Address: Homestay Taman Sedia, Taman Sedia, 39000 Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. Telephone number: 605-4912005, Fax number: 605-4911843, Mobile number: 6013-9202293.

its has been almost 10 years since the last time i go to Cameron and i will be going with my friend's next month. group of 6 people. What are the places that we should check out? Is the Lata Iskandar still there for us to stop by when we going up hill? I will renting a MPV (Innova or Exora) and driving it up. Izzit difficult to drive up now? is the road got any wider?

i just search through all the websites, they stated the departure is from puduraya, but i tot puduraya is closed?

i even phone them and ask, but a person who couldnt understand english and speaking very poor malay language in myanmar slang told me that puduraya bus station is still operating, that person made me feel doubtful on it(i declare that is nothing to do about racist, just the poor communication made me lost confidence)....

do any1 know where is the departure from kl to cameron? bukit jalil? or really puduraya?

thanks
