I just topped up CIMB Global Titans, TA European Equity Fund and RHB Emerging Markets Bond Fund. This is part of my re-alignment exercise.
Hope it will work out in the long run.

The Chinese fortress is still under siege and suffering heavy casualties. The soldiers are running out of food and supplies. Morale is low.
The Chinese government promised reinforcement but until now there is still not sign of that. Sigh....how long more do we have to wait? Should we surrender or continue to fight? |

When interest rate is cut, current outstanding bonds will go upE.g. last time FD rate 3%, I issue bond (I.e. I borrow money) at 6%. U buy my bond. When interest rate is cut to 2%, I actually can borrow at 5%. But u holding Pinky Bond 6%, if u sell the bond, it will become more valuable |

Cannot understand hahaha.. can understand first part, straight forward. But the y drop FD, u can borrow at 5%, but i holding 6% will be more valuable.. becos bond is upon maturity only u get the interest right? mean i issue 1mil bond, upon maturity i will get 60k right?

My credit strength allows me to borrow at FD + 2% I issue bond at 3% + 2% = 5% That bond matures in 10 years Tomorrow FD rate drops to 2% By right I can borrow at 4% now But the holder of the bond still enjoys 5% (1% excess) interest payment for 10 years |
