QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Sep 10 2015, 11:15 AM) My credit strength allows me to borrow at FD + 2% I issue bond at 3% + 2% = 5% That bond matures in 10 years Tomorrow FD rate drops to 2% By right I can borrow at 4% now But the holder of the bond still enjoys 5% (1% excess) interest payment for 10 years ohh means ur bond value higher(ROI is higher) if FD drop, but only if u sell to other ppl la right? I think bond fund and bond concept is abit different..

FD rate = 2% => investors' expected yield for bond = 4% yield lower = price higher

if can win big, sure also can lose big. so all same same la.best IRR 13.16% on 14.4.15 profit 23+k, now only 10+ @ 6.2% would rather take profit when it is up back to target, sell and lock it. see the ups and down in huge swings ... .....is like gambling

In one week, my port swing from -3% to -0.7%.
Nowadays all asset classes are sooooooooo positively correlated. It is so darn difficult to find a negatively correlated asset class.
The world is just too connected. Sigh!
