You have just show us a legendary recording!!

in the description of this video:

I just know Itzhak Perlman, Deniel Barenboim and Jacqueline Du Pré

I have Itzhak Perlman recording of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto
Jacqueline Du Pré Elgar's Cello Concerto
and Daniel Barenboim + Itzhak Perlman Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole

Jacqueline Du Pré still alive at that time... seen like this is quite old already... tongue.gif

LOL, you busy for gather all the garbage?? laugh.gif {joking}

By the way, that performance is very very nice.
For myself, I really enjoy the joyful Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio espagnole; and also the very powerful "Chrimstmas Symphony" with brilliant timpani!!
Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 also have 5 ovations too!!

Too bad for you all that can't attend... tongue.gif

The song from nodame?? blink.gif Do you meant Brahms's Symphony No. 1??

I went there, the performance is very very nice!!!
What I can remember now is the brass instrument is very very good especially near to the end of 4th movement which got sudden accent!!
I really get shock at that time, and my eyes become wet... tongue.gif

About the Ravel's performance, James Ehnes is very very nice.
4 ovation on Glazunov's Violin Concerto in A minor, and 5 ovation on the Ravel's Tzigane!!
He even encore with a Bach's violin...... Damn nice violinst with very good bowing and pizzicato skill!!!
Really feel impress by his performance...
And the La Valse... It is like a waltz with bomb!!!
