Your annual income would be total you have earned for 2016.
From June 2016 onward and including other kind of incomes if you do have any.

What if my dad accidentally filled in the amount incorrect for tax relief, for example:

Child - 18 years& above still studying
Filled in wrong amount RM 2000 (but actually is more than that, claim less)

EPF and Life Insurance
Didn't fill in at all (but actually my dad has EPF and life insurance)

What is the process if declare wrongly? Should my dad go to LHDN to re-fill again?
But what i think is, u claim less the govt should be won't come and check you, just worry later govt say my dad give wrong info

1 more question, if my mom didn't work (housewife, NOT divorce), is my dad eligible to claim for this?

Wife/husband/payment of alimony to former wife

Cuz it says Wife OR husband OR alimony to former wife

For the parents tax relief which is 3k which i understand i have to divide it among all the siblings i have, if one my sister has migrated to Singapore and she is no longer a malaysian citizen, do i still need to count her in here when i divide the 3k amount?

If my dad is semi retired and he has certain income (he does not file in eBE because his total income is below the taxable income), can i still submit that 3k tax relief for my dad ? My mother is a house wife

Thanks

Q1: You only count those siblings who are going to file for the same parents tax relief; not total number of siblings.

That's very hazy and subjective.
I believe your dad may not going to file his income.

so long you have income you are required to declare. If you earn below the threshold then there is no need to pay any taxes.
