I had a blackscreen issue too, turns out the problem is my PSU, changed to seasonic and never blackscreened anymore.
I'm running FSP Aurum S 700, Cooler Master V700 and Cooler Master V850. smile.gif All didn't work. For sure not PSU issue because that's the first thing I tried.

1. One can't DDU when can't even reach BIOS.

2. I've personally tried, even the drivers from the CD didn't work. Apa lagi mau?

tongue.gif Time to flash the latest sapphire vbios into the card through DOS (before the windows boot? ATIFlash USB?)

EDIT: Some card got dual bios, have you tried it yet?

Very serious issue.
It's already bad image that AMD is seen as budget brand, now creating more hassle for users.
People buy things so that it'll work, not to figure how to get it to work...
What brand is that 390 and 390X?

dragon ball MSI as always since late 90 problematic until now.. actually shouldn't be a problem to buy 390/390x if wanna build new rig from new users or upgrading from old gpu.

those owned xeon processor w/o discrete graphic would be very leceh with 390/390x

Sapphire & PowerColor the only brands can be trusted.

AMD is a budget brand and will remain as a budget brand unless they beat Nvidia in performance , efficiency, Driver, Overclocking and Customer support.

hmm.gif Hmm....how about forcing the PCIE controller mode into 3.0 instead of auto? (adjust at bios?)
Some said this solved the problem?

For the beta vbios, you need to specifically request it from sapphire technical support site.

Guys, a quick one here. It's been ages since I've used an AMD card, moreover now with a Displayport connection. In CCC, is there any setting that I should enable in order to get a full color range? Somehow, I feel the colors are a little washed out at the moment. I noticed something similar on my Nvidia cards and I simply need to enable Dynamic Range to Full (0-255).

DVI no issues, always full range. Only happens on HDMI / DP. Previously all my Nvidia cards on DVI capable monitor no issues at all.
