Guys, a quick one here. It's been ages since I've used an AMD card, moreover now with a Displayport connection. In CCC, is there any setting that I should enable in order to get a full color range? Somehow, I feel the colors are a little washed out at the moment. I noticed something similar on my Nvidia cards and I simply need to enable Dynamic Range to Full (0-255).

Did you try playing with Color Pixel Format?

My Digital Flat-Panels>Pixel Format.

So far everything on default. Any recommendations?

DVI no issues, always full range. Only happens on HDMI / DP. Previously all my Nvidia cards on DVI capable monitor no issues at all.

Uh.. try change to RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard?

Later let me check. For some reasons, after rebooting my desktop, the colors look the way it should be now. sweat.gif

I find that My Digital Flat-Panels>Pixel Format does not appear in my CCC. Any ideas? Are you using DP cable too?

Fury X is the same regardless of brand. Find the cheapest available.

Logically should be around 3k-3.5k, but no logic involved when it come to pricing in Malaysia.

Can ask idealtech about the price.

Just wondering if this is based on 390 core, or 390X core? Product seems to mention R9 390 X2. hmm.gif

390 DARAB 2.

the spacing is quite important, else ppl will think its 390X2 = 390X CF.
since FuryX / Nano is out, will we see dual GPU = FuryX X2?
iinm, i remember AMD slide got shown dual gpu monster hmm.gif
*
Meaning it's dual 390 core right? Sorry, blur a bit. sweat.gif

Yes, I think surely will have dual Fury monster. The bare board was previewed last time by Lisa.

Guys, which is the best brand of R9 390X? Currently looking at Sapphire's.
*
The cheaper ones in the market is Sapphire and Powercolor. Though I personally found the Powercolor to be rather noisy at load.

In US, people bitch about their graphics card at 80°c. Meanwhile in here, we're getting 90-100 (and throttled). Looks like these AMD are not suitable to be marketed here. Just like the FX9590. It seems water cooling is a MUST for these mid to high end cards.
Sigh... AMD and nvidia ignored the poor and hot countries.

I had three 390 series cards and I must say, the only one who really know how to cool their card well is Sapphire. Gigabyte (G1 Gaming) is a no-go, temp maxes out at 95C and it is screaming loud at full gaming load. So much for the irony of the original boxed reference cooler on the 290 series. Powercolor (PCS+) fared well, temps will not exceed 80C but again, the fan is screaming loud. Sapphire somehow managed to perfect their Tri-X cooler and temps hardly exceed 80C, fan noise was minimal. Of all the 390 series, I would vouch for Sapphire for a perfect balance between temps and noise. I think AMD used a higher stock voltage for their Grenada cores, and it is indeed a struggle for even 3rd party cooler to cool it down effectively.
