Either 10% off or RM2, but you can use tumbler with 10% off

Eg: Petronas voucher 20% off, I use tumbler with 20% off

We can enjoy 10% off if bring own own tumbler? Got this offer?

I thought only offer RM2 off if we bring own tumbler when buy drink?

What is the point to get 10% if none of the drink more than RM20?

RM2 off is more than 10%?

Seems confusing ppl with the statement

Since he asking tumbler with 10% off, so I just example for own tumbler with 10% off or RM2, either one

I didn't mention that tumbler is a MUST then only enjoy 10% or 20% off, it could be without tumbler, up to you.

Whether go for RM2 or 10% off is up to individual

for the birthday cake, my practise from last year (when there is a free grande upon registration of new account w/ card), was create new account every month birthday.

but since there is no more grande, i still can use the 12 accounts, to redeem a free cake every month smile.gif what you need to do is just to create an excel, list down the accounts, birthday month and remaining balance on each of the account lol.

has anyone tried to reload from sbucks website with PB VS and get the rebate?

i check from their website and they allow reload for visa/mc only.

with amex not having 5% weekend rebate anymore this could be the next good card to use to reload.

Reloading Starbucks card online at Starbucks website will entitle for cash back if your credit card is meant for e-commerce transaction.

It is using mobile88 payment processor same as 11street!

Just a small correction to the Benefits section in the first post:

• Purchase 1 tumbler of any size and receive 1 complimentary Grande size handcrafted beverage of choice.

This is no longer applicable; the benefit was withdrawn on April 21, 2015.

Currently, any free Grande-sized beverages are only applicable with promotional merchandise (labeled with green sticker).

Its on the tumblers, not any beverage in particular. Usually the newly released Summer tumblers would be eligible. The stickers are on the bottom of the tumblers - buy those and you get a free beverage on the spot. Check with the baristas, they are super helpful.

Their CS is not up to standard.

Yes, they will respond to calls fast but their way of handling customer cases/complaints are slow.

I sent them an email last Friday as requested by the CS on the phone. There's no reply nor acknowledgement. Then I sent them another email to top up with more information (snapshot). Also one way only! shakehead.gif

guys, just to share my experience on the promo rm10 for starbucks card value rm20. they didnt ship out our cards is because they are checking on multiple accounts but under same accoutn holder. 2 out of my 7 accounts are suspended, and the rest are alive. me too havent recv my cards since i placed and paid my order on 25th june, while my other frens who make multiple purchases did recv their cards oredi. i called twice to CS, they said Sales team checking the multiple account and keep repeat it is "system error" to me. I ask what will the sales team do after checked and confirm it is multiple purchase from the same person, CS said dont know. then i asked when will be the date they will finished checking, CS told me some customer who placed order in april has yet received their cards. sucks, right? i asked the CS to cancel all my orders. now waiting their reply. I will never go back to 11street. after this case is settled, and get back my money, i will close all my accounts.

my view is, it is very common to have multiple accounts in online website in order to get the best benefit. if you wan to do promotion and limit to 1 purchase per person, kindly upgrade your system for that restriction, or just send the orders out if your system is not able to fulfill your requirement. we are not beggars, we paid for the cards, and you collected my money for 2 weeks, but do not want to send out my goods. i feel this is not right. i will definitely close all my account in this website after this case is settled.

Wonder what kind of service provided by this corporate company.

Why cannot them have a system for customer lodge the complaint. Or they do no thave people to work in complaint.

lets wait and see till next week. i will call again then. hopefully either they send out the cards or they cancel and refund. if not, what you plan to do next? unless we go lodge report at the consumer court. that will work better i think.

i seriously doubt they will refund, they will still send but might take forever. either u lodge a police report for fraud or u can complain to consumer tribunal. i might go with the latter first.

if you see the previous tracking from people who have got it, took them 5 days for updates.

I asked the staff how is this work.

Example: buy a drink on morning and keep the receipt to enjoy 50% for next drink in the same day after 5pm

In a way it makes sense, but in another, it's a waste of 1 hour time and petrol just to drive there and redeem the same drink that you can get around your area, except the nearest SB is at Genting blush.gif

To redeem the SB drink is not the main purpose to go Genting.

Premium Outlet should sell special drinks not available in other "normal" SB stores. Then you can charge more RM1.00

Didn't know there's such outlet as SB Signature/Premium.

But I do realise that some outlets tend to be cheaper (~RM1 less) for the same drink (and size).

swiped (purchased drink, not reloading SB card) at Starbucks (MCC: 5813) @ Sunway Pyramid (main entrance), Maybank CS said it's under Dining cashback for m2card Amex.

only way to know is from Sep bill statement to come.

But if reload the card by using same machine, should be consider right ?? MCC is depend on the machine setting? I realized that they have only one machine for swiping

remember this Dining is under MCC 5813, ngamngam under m2card amex cashback category. may not be eligible for other cards' Dining category which excludes MCC 5813.

I think I need to swipe RM5+ for Americano at starbucks inside Pavilion, KLCC, MV then call to ask what merchant code it is.

We can then gather a list of it. biggrin.gif

yesterday, i asked the barista if i can use my ucard to get the points from previous customer brows.gif barista said can, but need to know the receipt number, which is why they always swipe ucard back-to-back after generating the receipt, so the POS can capture.

of course they do swipe the card, to capture the ucard serial number mah. if not, how do they credit u the bpoints leh?

the 10% discount is based on the POS option. most of the baristas immediately know the "10% discount" when they see the bright orange ucard. again, they dont compare details, just swipe and go.

Bro, it is as if you are asking me generic touch n go card or Watson VIP touch n go card is better. Both are basically used to collect points, but I reckon you can earn points when paying Umobile bills or reload with Ucard, otherwise it wont called Ucard right?

a tip from my fren.

take a screenshot of your payment barcode page. this way you don't have to go to your app whenever you want to pay. just go to photo app and use the snapshot photo. just make sure you have sufficient fund.

The "Remove" button will only appear once you "Report Loss a Card".

Have a try and report here if it's working.

They'll be open sometime next month.

Walked past the renovation when I was at Gardens recently.

Now that there's Starbucks reserve, maybe you'll get a free drink or discount if you hold an Amex reserve tongue.gif

The Starbucks at Midvalley already selling at a premium, can't imagine the price for the one in garden if it's to be higher than Signatures.

When times are bad, middle class will less likely spend on high-end things but the rich will continue to buy.

Well, I often buy my drinks with my student ID to get the 20% student discount. So I thought if the 20% discount also applied for tumblers too.

Went to an outlet today and walao so packed! The standard RM30 card sold out. sad.gif The die-cut RM100 cards really neat. Tried Duo Cocoa Mocha, and really think it hits my taste bud - not overly sweet, chocolate taste was okay. Oh yeah, Double Reward also can be used with the Buy 1 Get 1 vouchers. And new Autumn tumblers: <3 - though I haven't get one yet.

Any would do fine. Lecturers are also entitled for the 20% discount by showing their matric IDs

EDIT: Just make sure to ask the outlet if they accept student ID first. Some wouldn't offer the discount.

Absolutely. The first time I had it, I think my barista ran out or something, so it tasted great. On my second and third, it tasted too sweet. Today for my fourth, I asked if they could not put any kind of sugar or sweetener (unless it was chocolate), I got it exactly how I wanted.

Why not try 11street, last time I bought only RM14 for RM20 or RM16 for RM20, discount rate is 20% to 30%. But the promo is from time to time only.

Recently I just knew that I can collect point with my BCard, which was from ChaTime. (Darn slowpoke me again.) But I found out, when I checked the 'My Transaction History', I literally have my ChaTime transactions listed.

So pretty much, emailed them about it. They asked for BCard's receipts, which luckily I kept. But then they asked for Starbuck's receipts, which unluckily I had threw few of the out. So, I guess it was a loss?

Anyhow, do anybody experiencing this kinda trouble where the BCard did not collect any points?

BCard can be used for companies under Berjaya Group or that have partnership with them.

I think what he mean is when he checked his card usage, the transaction on Chatime got points listed, but none for Starbucks transaction. smile.gif

Better so.

It could be the cashier forgot to swipe the B card or the terminal malfunction.

I definitely did. The baristas (the two who I am familiar) explained and did key-in something into a small device (much like the one the cashier use to swipe credit cards) from my receipts and BCard. Currently, waiting for reply from the BCard inquiry.

Because the cashier didn't complete swiping the transaction at the BCard terminal. Always ask for the receipt from these loyalty swipes. Sometimes they waiting for the line to be idle and will forget.
I make it a point to wait for it.

Doesn't matter which card you pay first, to ensure your birthday card of the value of the transaction is more than another card.

Oh I see. Thanks for the clarification.

Does it mean in order to get the birthday reward, I have to make 1st purchase to enable birthday reward tracker. Then when birthday reward shows up I have to purchase another drink to enable me to claim my birthday reward?

Only one purchase is needed to enable the tracker. Once appeared, you can redeem it. I don't think you need to purchase anything more for redemption.

Ya for normal SB of barista, they make coffee based on step by step as I visit quite frequent, the taste of coffee based on barista, no standard, sometimes less milk or less coffee

Price for RM15 is consider ok what if really nice taste and plus own tumbler deduct RM2 haha...

There´re plastic based thumbler which is usually below RM 50. Those touching RM 100 are usually stainless steel based or thermos based.

I was at Centrepoint SB and was informed about this reload RM100 to get 1 free drink from the current promotion drinks. I guess it's applicable to all outlets.

You need to drink 50 times (RM2 x 50 = RM100) to "earn" back the cost of the tumbler
