Not a single byte from international peers. |

download speed getting sadder and sadder. getting less than 5kb/s for bittorrent
downloads. messenger keeps logging on and off. mirc xdcc speeds sucks. rapidshare/ savefile..etc @ 1-2Kb/s. feels like its getting worst. gonna downgrade to 512k if still persists after CNY.. This post has been edited by alyx: Jan 30 2007, 01:11 AM |

I tried d/l clerks2 from piratebay yesterday and got FULL SPEED at around 9am today! Maxed out my connection and connected to international peers with no problem. I'm currently d/l another torrent for comparison and connected to 12+ peers so far and not 1 malaysian ip in sight.

I've sent an email to tmnet for an answer. Let us see what they are going to say about it. The service should have been fixed by yesterday

Really hope streamyx someday can be as competitive as broadband providers in here too. Healthy competition, cheaper price, better service = beneficial for consumer Abt RM90 for 1mbps is quite reasonable, but the service provided + instability is a let down. For NTL: home 2mbps = £18, 4mbps = £25, 10mbps = £35 |

Screamyx will NEVER EVER be as competitive as other broadband providers. Is already an ABSOLUTE FATE that they will fall behind 1xxxxxxxkm away from other broadband provider.

International peers still NOTHING!
I've also noticed this trend for these few weeks (see attached pix).... Total download for BT hovers around 12KB/s only, even with local peers... Must be TMNutz's doing.. Edit: Is TMNutz able to control the amount of BT bandwidth per user? This post has been edited by lex: Jan 31 2007, 12:22 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Fasting from BT bout 2 months ady, but today decide to try again due to lots of my fav TV episodes came out. I'm shocked, for the first time utorrent kick in full blast at 55 kB/s with my RM66 package. No proxy, no proxomitron needed. Hope this will last. BTW, it's 3.30AM now and utorrent already running for 2 hours straight.
Edit: Forgot to mention, no local peers in peer list. Downloading full speed from intl peers. This post has been edited by adx: Jan 31 2007, 03:34 AM |
