Maybe another TM NUT idea for killing our p2p traffic???

WHAT WOULD YOU DO, IF TM NUT DECIDES TO THROTTLE P2P/BT TRAFFIC PERMANENTLY FROM NOW ON?

On the other hand, I hope TM NUTS never read this forum, cos if we find some way to bypass their blardy traffic shapers/packet inspectors, they will take steps to block them too.

Well, it's now Jan 25 and my international torrents are still in coma. I guess we know what TM Nuts is planning to do now with their throttling.

For the first time in years now I'm starting to consider changing ISPs. Anyone in Cheras thinking about switching to Maxis 3G Broadband? Would rather pay more for less speed but at least got unthrottled P2P.

You're using 2MB package? If so maybe TM Nuts is ignoring you. For now...

But all of the 1Mbps lines will have sh*t P2P performance thanks to TM Nut throttling.

Same here.... my torrents are alive again. Dun care about the speed... the fact that international connections are back is a miracle.

Connection to international peers back on, but speed seems to fluctuate.. now and then a fast seeder appears but mostly it looks to be throttled. I'm averaging 5-10 kB/s, upload no problem can go full blast. Not sure if TM Nuts is playing with throttling on certain hours of the day/night?

Also, my emule gila gila one.... sometimes can get high ID and open kad, sometimes low ID and firewalled kad, sometimes cant even connect to ed2k network....

Is it true you get a limit of 3GB upload + download per month?

Since last week or so the throttling has become worse... now getting <<10kB/s average....

Hearsay TM Nuts also throttling local peers right? And they still got the gall to introduce their 4mbps service at RM200++

I'm now trying out a vpn service... seems to improve a bit.... 10-20kB/s.... nothing great but far better than nothing.

You can't get any more obvious than that, can you...?

OK, then, then I'll confess that I've been downloading *** for the past day or so, it's 8GB or so and I dunno when I'm EVER gonna finish with TM Nuts freakin throttling...
