we are talking about BT here ... not http download
if you're talking about http download... i can get up to around 180KB/s on my 2Mbps package..that's using download accelerator of course |

I am afraid p2p days via S-mix are nearing the end. I cannot get ANY connection via proxy (Secure Tunnel), PAW etc. All icons in uTorrent flash in red - "connection closed by peer". No matter what. On the top of this my ST proxy connection is disconnected few minutes after I activate it, so I would have to sit in front of my PC to keep on rectifying this. No continuity, no DL, no UL, no sense. Time to downgrade (384kbps, dial up). The service does suck big time.
But I have lightning-speed http DLs (record 250kBs on 1.5M package)- of occassional, limited use, no need for broadband, no price diff justification. Have you seen all the TMNut recruiters in shopping malls, trying to sign as many new users as possible? "Ultra-fast speed" |

Ipoh streamyx still down..... SP streamyx down as well... i wud say Malaysia streamyx is dead..... no P2P from now on, I presume.... throttled by TMnet....
The only way to go around this is to connect to local peers..... on ur computer full time and connect to the locals by adding in alot of files and let them lineup for turn to download.... |
