As always, we should remember, the purpose of buying a good water purifier, is not those fancy feature, is the water purifier that capable to do the standard job, that is to filter unwanted stuff and retain wanted stuff in the water.

Well said thumbup.gif

QUOTE(sonerin @ Jan 21 2016, 01:01 PM)
Good to know it lasted 6 years without problem. The reason I wanted this is to have hot / cold water. Save time to boil water, as I already water filter at the entry point.
*
If you use hot water everyday and a lot, then getting a dispenser is really useful

For my family, we seldom use hot water at home as we brew our coffee in the office with a 1.5L kettle.

For Low usage, not worth getting bcoz :
1. Water Dispensers require maintenance due to the calcium build up and etc inside the machine & storage tank which you need to get technicians to clean it. Servicing will cost you $$ unless you purchase the machine with a rental scheme.

2. The machine will use more electricity as it will need to reheat and keep the water hot, if you use very little hot water you will be wasting $$ on electricity and also elderly says it is not healthy to keep on boiling the same water over and over again.
(Note : The machine doenst boil 24hours non-stop, when temperature drop til certain degree only it will reheat)

For low usage, just get a 1L kettle, only take awhile to boil compared to the conventional 5L kettle. Boil the water only when you need it to get fresh & high quality water for consumption.

Aquaphor does not manufacture water dispenser but i could order a korean dispenser to be coupled together with Aquaphor Crystal Eco.

hello guys, please recommend me water filter.... Really cant decide between amway and aquaphor...

Amway is almost 2x the price of aquaphor.. but it is more well known and the design is nicer lol

For yearly cartridge change, both are around the same price.... Functionality wise, I really cant commend cause I hardly study anything about water filter.

Please recommend me one. Thank you = )

What else you need to know about Aquaphor? Actually if you read through this thread, you can see the past discussions, replies and feeback. However, most forumers find it too much info to read, most of them just drop by my shop smile.gif

If you think Aquaphor Crystal Eco with filtration 0.1 micron (Espring - 0.2 micron) is still not good enough, u can still opt for Aquaphor DWM 101 (RO System - 0.0001 micron). DWM101 filters of everything including minerals but it has a remineralization cartridge to balance back the mineral and pH level in the water. I haven market it yet in malaysia but used it for about 6 months for testing, so far so good. This system produces the purest and cleanest water but most people in malaysia prefer Crystal Eco as they think Aquaphor DWM 101 is too clean smile.gif

There is too much info on water filters to read up (RO, Alkaline, Energy water, Oxygen water and etc etc), if you do not have the time, just drop by my shop for me to explain the details.

I'd love to go to your shop, but it is really far from my place, I am from puchong lol...

I have received so many pm regarding espring, so many amway distributors in this forum and of course all amway distributors recommend espring. Any genuine user can give some feedbacks? haha

I have currently been using Aquaphor Crystal Eco for 3 months. I have no complaints on this product so far. Hope it continues serving the good quality of water. I bought it from zheilwane's shop in Kepong. He is a genuine seller and very happy with his prompt response service.

Thanks bro smile.gif Many customers do comment as well that the Aquaphor crystal Eco water taste better than normal boiling water smile.gif
So far so good, no issues at all with the filter only 2 - 3 cases got small issue during installation such as washer missing or connection thread issue.

How do we know if a water quality is good? Unless you have the device to test it, how do you know if your water quality is good? Leave out the foul smell or the color of the water, a crystal clear water not necessary means good quality of water.

*
True, that is why we will need to compare the product and also check on the lab test report / international certification to know whether the product is good or not.

Aquaphor Crystal Eco does not have NSF as this product is mainly targeted in European countries which LGA certification is already sufficient. In Malaysia, for cafes and restaurants some of them require local labtest done by labs accredited by the local MOH (some of my customers didnt require this). I have sent my filter for testing and i did upload the report online for reference. Sold several units to cafe/restaurant approved by MOH. Aquaphor Crystal Eco has been tested with international standard (LGA) and also our Local Lab approved by MOH. Therefore it is definitely a good quality water filter smile.gif

For members who are looking for even better filters, you can consider Aquaphor DWM101 (RO System) removes all impurities upto 0.0001 micron and this system is mainly sold in USA that is why they did obtain NSF standard 58 - Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Treatment Systems

I have a POE membrane filter that can filter up to 0.01 micron. Now I have POU 3M DWS2500 which can only filter 0.2 micron, I'm not sure is it redundant. Quite confused if I have installed correctly, anyone can enlighten me ?
*
As copied from website
"While reverse osmosis (0.0001 micron) is effective for removing a variety of contaminants in water, the reverse osmosis membrane alone does NOT remove volatile organic chemical (VOCs), chlorine and chloramines, pharmaceuticals, and a host of other synthetic chemicals found in municipal water"

Even with 0.0001 is not good enough, that is why even u have a 0.01 POE filter, you still need a good drinking filter.

BTW, CTM-01 is tested in accordance with NSF 42/53 standards only, that's why it is cheap. Replacement cartridge is about RM150ish. if You want NSF certified, replace it with NSF certified C-Complete cartridge in your next cartrige replacement.

If you just wan a cheaper filter for high capacity not premium water quality then get a ceramic washable filter for less than RM 200 only. If clog just open and clean it.

I think those bath & kitchen acc shops should have, maybe different design. Diring home exhibition, I had came across a 2-in-1 faucet system with separate faucet but using one single sink hole also.
Maybe zheilwane can tell us more.

elken bio pure good or not?
*
Answer is all in the thread, need to read rclxms.gif

Summary :

ELKEN = RO WATER = PUREST & CLEANEST water (no contaminants and no minerals)

However, most elderly says when water is too clean it is not good also. From online research, RO water pH level is 6 - 6.5 (mild acidic) this is because there is no mineral in the water, hence it is not good for health. There are many debates online, just need to read up and decide what is best for you and your family.

Eat fruits and vege got all the zat mineral already
if u bought organic type of fruits and vege even better

water = h2o

what else u want?
*
I got what u are trying to say, drinking RO water (no minerals) but we could get back the minerals in our food such as meat or fruits.

There is no 100% answer whether Alkaline or RO water is the best, that is why from the start i did mention "read up online" and choose what u think is the best for your family.

Til today there are still many debates and no 100% answer yet but definitely drinking clean water with good filtration system is the safest rather than drinking gimmick water such as breaking molecules, adding oxygen and etc etc. There are just too much info and it is quite impossible for me to type them all out, you need to read it in GOOGLE, alternatively, you can also drop by my shop and ask me anything you would like to know.

I am currently using Aquaphor DWM 101 (RO filter with remineralization system) as testing before marketing it in Malaysia. If you want the cleanest, this is definitely better than those without remineralization. However, i personally thinks Aquaphor Crystal Eco is good enough.

If you have time, you could also read this WHO report...

already PM you the price as i m not allowed to post pricing here due to forum rules. Anyway it cost much lower (30-50% cheaper) compared to those gimmick water filters.

Previously some members requested more info on Crystal Solo as the product is not listed in the Aquaphor website.

Here is the new Malaysia website for Aquaphor, all the products sold in malaysia will be in this website. Now open for DEALERSHIP
Will update the website with more info by next month

Im confused, we used to drink boiled water, any filter that can remove chemical, dirt & bacterial?

boiling water can only kill bacteria but the contaminants in our water such as heavy metals will still be in our water after boiling. That is why we need a good filter.

Aquaphor Eco --> Tank with water dispenser (no need boiler).

I am planning to have a separate small kettle/water boilder as i only use hot water during morning and nite for beverages.
*
I have talked to a water dispenser supplier, we could connect the Aquaphor Crystal Eco to their dispenser machine and it is much cheaper compared to Coway

Recently I found that Cuckoo Water Purifier started to aggressively pushing into market like TV or RadioFM or Shopping-Mall Booth.

Anyone here done research about them? Sounds like another high marketing company from Korea endorsed by somesort of celebrity without any solid background. I can't even search their name on NSF, at least Coway have.
*
I notice they heavily advertise on their MILD ALKALINE water rated pH 7.6-7.8. Nothing great about it as our water supply has minerals and that is why tap water is already mild alkaline, Aquaphor Crystal Eco has been labtest with local water supply with pH 7.6.
