I'd say its a very very niche product, so ur options are pretty limited

Cuz most ppl need hot/cold water after they're filtered so that it can be directly used, very little ppl need a tankless dispenser that doesn't come with filters

Thanks for your reply!

Yeah it seems for cold dispensing, so far I can only find Jiksoo and Puricare, but this STAR 810 by I-tech seems to be the same unit as the Intact Q6+, but at a much cheaper price.
From what I can see it seems to be the cheapest way to get tankless cold water.

Has anyone had experience with the Intact Q6+?

Hello,
You still here?
You change your C-Complete replacement cartridge every year?

I read the ctm-02 box "change the disposable filter cartridge every 6 months or sooner if you observe a noticeable reduction in water flow rate."
This is not recommended 6 months.

I compared with below

https://www.3m.com.my/3M/en_MY/p/d/v000217068/
3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Dedicated Faucet Water Filter Cartridge AP Easy C-Complete,
Filter Life 6 months
Replacement Interval 6.0 Month

https://www.3m.com.my/3M/en_MY/p/d/v000217064/
3M™ AP Easy Complete Drinking Water Filter System (Undersink)
Replacement Interval Up to 6 months

What is your opinion? If CTM-01, do you think also need change cartridge every 6 months, not 6-12 months?

Thank you.

Hi would like to know If this is possible for direct consumption without UV or boiling water process? I mean with C-Complete cartridges.

Can? yes. recommended and safe? Not really. With no bacteria removal it is not really a direct drink. I would boil

Actually many brands have tankless cold dispensing, but mostly comes with filters which u do not need

Otherwise, can consider to just get those dispenser with tank (I think xiaomi should have), slightly more troublesome needing to refill the tank but cost much less than RM1,250

Or, get an ice maker machine (costs about RM350) biggrin.gif

For tankless cold it is very hard to find just a dispenser that also works connected to another filter. I haven't found one reasonably priced, so best solution is to filter a water to a flask and keep in the fridge. Not the most elegant, but cheapest and simplest solution.

I see, I thought that certified 42 and 53 is consider safe already. Any recommend with bacteria removal? How to judge If one is safe enough to consumed.

1. 3m DWS2500-C-CNUNLBDA3 EXP
2. Aquasana AQ-5200 Claryum® 2-Stage

Nsf42 is material safety, nsf53 is reduction claim of certain contaminants, not all. Bacteria is not there. You need a mechanism for bacteria removal, example - ultrafiltration. Dws2500 has it, Aquaphor has it (they are pretty much the same except that Aquaphor is 1/2 the price). Aquasana doesn't have it.

Hi guys, need some recommend on water filter.
There are too many brands and type outside, quite confused over here.

I need a water filter to drink and safe for baby.
Apart for adult drinking water, it's gonna be used for baby milk.

Prefer on table top because I do not want to drill hole at counter top.
Hot/Cold is not important to me, room temperature work just fine.

Budget would be in middle range.

Heard espring is good but it seems very expensive at RM 5k.
Heard about cuckoo too, quite pricey but they allow installment.

Would love to hear recommend from all the sifu here smile.gif

Thks in advance

If you do not care much about hot/cold, just get any undersink in countertop configuration (for example Aquaphor) through a diverter. 1k RM roughly, easy to connect. If you want fancy, it will be more expensive. LG would be your choice, not cuckoo

Thanks for your suggestion bro, Aquaphor? never heard of it before, check their website, they only have under counter filters which I need to drill a hole at my sink / tabletop which I prefer not to drill it.
Might to share why not cuckoo and LG instead ? As I see Cuckoo they have 6 stages of filtration and LG only has 4 stages confused.gif

Was having a hard time finding the information. Is LG 516/518 AN reverse osmosis type filters? Or is only anti bacterial and some sediments?

No. of stages are not what's important, what's important is what can be filtered out

LG uses ultra-filtration which filters out bacteria/viruses while retaining essential minerals in the water

LG uses ultra-filtration, not RO, so minerals are retained thumbup.gif

Yea, there's a lot of sales agent's website, the official LG website is here
https://www.lg.com/my/rent-up/water-purifiers

Also can get more info from the LG Puricare thread here

eSpring priced at RM3699 with ABO price if you check their website. Provided ABO get additional 6%, that would be end up being RM3477. You can find your friends/families who is rep from Amway. Can filter aprox 5000 Litre of water, iinm the replacement cart is at around RM600.

There are alternative out there, like you mentioned earlier Aquahor, iinm we do have 2 official reseller in LYN here. @hestati @zheilwane

If you can install on your own, you can even opt to buy from Shopee, Aquasana AQ-5300+CT (Counter-Top) and then just DIY. I quickly check for you is around RM900 (before voucher discount)

You do not need to drill for countertop configuration with diverter, any undersink can be installed this way. Not the most elegant solution, but cheap if the $ is of concern.

Do not fall for the "6 stage" marketing. You can have tiny 6 stages vs serious 2 stages (hope it makes sense). Bare minimum you need 2 stages - bacteria removing and odor removing. Maybe sediment to protect the other 2. Everything else is useless in general (of course if carbon can remove heavy metals etc etc, but I mean in general, to simplify).

Hi Hestati, I have similar requirement as above, preferably not to drill countertop but not against it if is the best solution. I am currently looking for water filter for my condo both POE and drinking and came acorss your product. Between the 2 brand you are carrying what are the key differentiator you would highlight for consideration, besides the price point.

1. landed
2. 1 pax
3. No medical issues, just would like to have good drinking water
4. Yes I can do some my own diy filter replacement
5. Comfortable with 50/months installment.
6. Don't mind one time off purchase and changing own filters. But if installment comes with free servicing and changing filter and cost about the same. Then better do installment
7. House having a diamond external filter from previous owner. Also contemplating if I should change it.
8. I do make hot water daily every morning. Don't mind using thermal pot at all. Prefer save electricity.

Since u dun mind boiling water, i believe a simple sediment and carbon filter combo is both cheapest and adequate for u (should cost less than RM2k)

Unless u need instant hot/cold water, no need to get those Cuckoo, Coway, LG biggrin.gif

Also if the filters of the Diamond unit is not being replaced regularly, i suggest u stop using it immediately

Get a very simple unit, but if you want full service, maybe LG? Diamond is outside unit or inside?
