Sorry I may miss it earlier, does Aquaphor comes with routine maintenance or do we have to change the cartridge, filter ourselves? So is Aquaphor mild Alkaline or mild Acidic? Sorry for being a beginner in this area.
Aquaphor is 7.6 based on my office tap water as lab tested (mild alkaline). Cartridge u can just twist and replace yourself, it is very simple
If you use hot water frequently then it is good to have water dispenser, i use it to sterilize my baby's bottle, reheat milk, cook cup noodle and etc etc, so we use hot water like almost every hour.
If you only use occasionally (like once a day), it is actually waste of electricity to have the dispenser, get a mini size kettle, boil small amount of water quite fast also

Any 3M reseller here? Got quote for eSpring but no offer for 3M DWS 2500T-CN. Is Aquaphor up to the standard as well?
you can actually check prices in lazada or other online website. i am not allowed to comment on specific brands but you can compare the spec and also look at the actual products to compare. If you do not have time to go through all the info, just drop by my shop and ask for zean, i have compared with many other brands and quite well verse with other brands info as well

Actually, can not say it is a problem. The UV lamp/bulb has lifespan and one is expected to replace the lamp at a stipulated time frame similar to that of replacing water filter cartridges. So it's normal for UV filter.
i mean it could have problem if it is not a good one, there is a risk. if like UV light from amway then should be durable

Does it consume a lot of electricity with the dispenser? As compared to refrigerator. Not that I'm going to use a lot of hot water. Will use it for coffee in the morning, coffee at night, cup noodle maybe, reheat milk yes once in a while as some of the time will be using warmer. COld water also, as will need to make drinks at night as well.
Will the filter be easily available in Penang, and how long do I need to change it? How about the dispenser, do I need to wash it frequently ?
420watt for hot water 85watt for cold water
You can purchase the fiilter and cartridge from me, i will courier for free, if u need installer, i will get penang plumber to install.
Change the cartridge once a year, just press and twist, can change within 1min. Dispenser, checked with my supplier, they dont clean it but if u wanna clean is not difficult also, i can guide u how to do it. This is similar to our hot flask at home, we rarely need to clean it. If you need a technician to clean, then i just get my plumber to clean as well but they gonna charge. Aquaphor concept is for customer to DIY on the maintenance, so you save on the labour cost

Bought Aquaphor Crystal Eco from zheilwane during last HomeDec exhibition at KLCC. But only last week my kitchen cabinet is ready and called him to install it.
The best part is the water dispenser casing is matching with my kitchen cabinet colour.
I have been drinking the water for almost 1 week already. Now can have hot/cold water anytime. And if need room temperature water, can get it direct from the tap.
If ask me, why Aquaphor? I did my "research" and Aquaphor is suitable for my current situation.
Everyone have their own preferences and reasons. If you need a water filter, it is better you do your own research first, check your financial, check your situation, ask your partner, and lastly make your decision.
Very happy with the purchase.
Nice photos bro thanks for sharing and the comments

Great review. One question, can we individually turn on/off hot and cold for the water? I am dun really drink cold water. All in all how much?
Same here, we dont drink much cold water so we turn off the compressor. There are also customers who add a timer socket to only turn on the dispenser in the morning

But i think i still need a dispenser. Understood that Aquaphor alone is on-demand type... if no water supply = no drinking water. So a dispenser still can store some drinking water when water supply is out.
You are correct But when u notice there is water rationing, turn off the water dispenser to prevent overheating though it has a thermostat inside

Good point! But I think the water dispenser can run without electricity? Only the boiler needs the electricity. Maybe for @zheilwane to confirm. If electricity is required for boiling, then i think need to manually on the switch when i need hot water or as suggested to connect it with a timer on when to on or off the power.
Yup, water dispenser can still work without electricity. The electricity is just for boiler and compressor.
To save electricity, can add a timer plug as shown previously (only turn on in the morning when we need it)

Thinking to buy either Aquaphor Crystal Eco or Nesh Qoozo. I've read through some of the posts and found many compliments on zheilwane and the products, hence the confidence. On the other hand, my friends recommend highly on Nesh Qoozo as they have been using it for 5 years and are happy with the features of that purify, sterilize and deodorize thingy. So, can anyone give me some kind advice?
Just compared the filter media used in both brands and you will be able to tell which is better
However, do google on risk and disadvantage of Ozone water as well to have a read. Here is one of them, i have research a little on this and it is still not 100% clear how harmful it is in the long run but in the short run it is definitely safe http://scientificlogic.blogspot.my/2010/09...ne-as-food.html

I'm currently looking for under sink filter too and comparing between Aquaphor and 3M. Here are my queries and would really appreciate if anyone can help as I couldn't get those information that i needed from the internet. Queries :-
i. Are the Aquaphor Crystal Solo and 3M AP Easy Complete sufficient to make the tap water drinkable? FYI, I'm currently staying in a condo which is about 8 yo which i believe they have a centralised water filter.
ii. 3M Ap Easy Complete is about RM960~ as per Lazada but what is the price for Aquaphor Crystal Solo?
iii. 3M Ap Easy Complete cartridge is about RM270 as per Lazada too, how about the cartridge price for Aquaphor Crystal Solo?
iv. Let's say a small family now about 3 pax, as per recommendation for Aquaphor Crystal Solo, the cartridge should be changed every 12 month; how about 3M Ap Easy Complete cartridge?
Question is, is the water Healthy or not for long term consumption? Drop by my shop if you need to know more
Here is an example, this crystal eco has been used for 1 year, you can see the first and second cartridge is dirty while the final filter is clean. So, if you are using a single stage filter, you will be drinking the contaminants in the second filter.
ii. Aquaphor Solo is RM 699
iii. Replacement for Solo is RM 150
iv. Alll brands the same, either replace every 12 months or when it reaches capacity (whichever comes first). However, due to malaysia's poor water quality, the "Capacity" claim by most companies are not accurate. So, do get a higher capacity filter than what you really need. If you have an outdoor filter, then it should be OK to follow the "Capacity" claim. Why change 12 months? Bcoz carbon adsorption effectiveness drops over time and most effective within 1 year, for other reasons you can also ask me when you are in my shop if you need to know more
If you have time, i do suggest reading through this discussion thread, lots of discussions and info discussed before here. However, most people do not have the time, that is why i suggest them to drop by my shop

done some reading..
"Cyanotoxins are naturally occurring toxins produced by several species of cyanobacteria under certain conditions"
"Cyanobacteria (also called blue-green algae) are water-dwelling bacteria that are able to generate their own energy through photosynthesis"
As our water tank, pipes and water filters are not exposed to sun light, there is no way Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) can grow. Moreover, Cyanobacteria could be removed with chlorine which is already in our syabas water. Cyanotoxins in the other hand could not be removed with chlorine and boiling it will only make the toxin concentrated and more dangerous. Unless our water tank is exposed to sun light (not covered) or water treatment plan is affected with the algae boom, then only we will need to be worried with Cyanobacteria.
"Current treatments proven to reduce cyanotoxins include activated carbon, slow sand filtration, conventional filtration, membrane filtration, advanced UV and ozone"

We always see ppl selling Cuckoo, Coway, Amway, Nesh only... Any review with Aquaphor Crystal Eco? Can drink straight the filtered water or still need to boil.. Price and maintenance fee? Wanted to know too, but should be at least 4k, well above my 2k...
reviews u can read through this discussion thread, lots of debates and explanations.
1. Basic start, check for certifications but do not blindly buy because it has certifications. Some cheap filters RM 500-600 also has certifications but does not mean they could provide premium filtration quality. Certification is more like to show this company has consistency in their product and their product has some standards or quality, hence quite reliable.
2. Check what filter media is used and also ask them to show you. Some brands have big cartridges but the inside only have very little filter media or sometimes what is stated on the catalog is not really what is given
