i got a problem with water filter

I bought Sharp ....then due to my high water pressure the sharp water filter crack and burst then spoilt

Then i got another water filter from CW .....also the cause of high pressure i think the cartridge leaking

Is there any indoor water filter that can sustain high water pressure ?
*
I can suggest u eSpring....currently using it, no problem for high pressure. thumbup.gif

can anybody explain me in more simple term?

im generally clueless in this aspect, the only system i had used before was diamond water.

1) how is the said diamond compare to other system? what kind of spec comparison should i be looking at? thanks

2) im considering install 1 outdoor and 1 indoor? is it necessary? if so what difference/knowledge should i be researching on both end?

To know the water filter is good or not just look for 3rd party certification like NSF which is a global standard. What media is the filter made of? Carbon? Membrane? How many contaminants it can remove with black & white proof. When buy water filter, don't simply trust what salesperson told you, they can simply say anything they want, get proof from them to support their statements.

outdoor is to filter off dirt, if your house is new maybe you don't need it as long there is no slight color changes. If your incoming water is dirty then can consider to install outdoor filter. Indoor water filter is for drinking purpose so it must be a good one, otherwise no point to install it.

How high is your water pressure? Have you check it before?
Get eSpring which only will flow the water through the filter when you open your taps unlike other filters that have constant water flowing through filters, this type of filters must have pressure regulator.
Maximum working pressure for eSpring is 125 psi/860 kPa which is very high even with power pump also working fine. My house is using water pump (condo) without issue.

Hi saw some comments that Blondal is OEM in Malaysia? Is the brand origin from Switzerland? How is it overall?

Looking for water filter at home, what brand to recommend? Price not really a major concern

If you want to know is it a good filter, you can try to search from NSF that how many type of cert the filter have and how many contaminants it's really can filter. Google or YouTube can search many of the info, if the filter is less info, it mayb not so trusted. biggrin.gif

Hi all, I have a possible unusual question for this thread. Whats the best option for someone on a budget? My budget is around 300 bucks max. Currently im considering Panasonic TK-CS20. Can't afford to get rm2k-3k good ones right now so have to make do with a cheap one for the time being (a year or maybe two).

Please advice.

No need change filter media? hmm.gif
Direct change a new 1 if clogged? The filter is so tiny, i don't think it can last long.

Move in new house?
For dirt and sediment removal the filter is good enough.

Thanks bro smile.gif

Yup, Aquaphor is not just a good filter but durable as well smile.gif if it can withstand GRUNDFOS pressure, quite rarely it could burst due to over pressure smile.gif

I have customers using other brands that crack. Hence they changed to aquaphor and so far so good, no negative feedback smile.gif

outdoor i use kinetico fully imported from USA. auto backwash that dont need electricity for the timer as their auto-backwash is activated by amount of water use.

indoor - just use trusted brand like 3M

For your budget, the most value for money is 3M CTM-01. Tested in accordance to NSF standards 42 & 53. Reputable brand. Can get it in Lazada or 11street.
When first cartridge is due for replacement, replace it with NSF certified 3M C-complete replacement cartridge. Cheapest NSF standard 42 & 53 certified water you can buy.

Sounds good and within budget, but the 3M C-Complete replacement cartridge seems like its being sold for almost RM300, wow. Seems expensive for replacement cartridge. Or am I looking at the wrong place?
Thanks for the suggestion ya!

If you are only concern about dirt and sediments, the panasonic is already good enough.
