QUOTE(sunnytkl @ Feb 11 2016, 06:47 PM) Just went 1k service this morning, using semi sync oil which is provided fr Bermaz. If it's free service, stick with it. Top up that amount might as well go for another better engine oil.But I was offered upgarde to fully sync oild with top up another 2xx. Does anyone using fully sync oil ? Does it really make any diff ? In term of fc and performance. |

QUOTE(4555 @ Feb 11 2016, 03:52 PM) Hai.. i am new owner of Mazda 3, i just want to ask whether installing brakelock like MissHanz will void warranty and what is the cost? because i read somewhere, installing brakelock will damage our brake system...please correct me if this statement is wrong Hi, just came across this post by JDM TeknikThank u in advance Pedal Brakelock + Autofold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGdag9Q-kpE&noredirect=1 Cost is RM350 including installation. As you can see from the video, it's just plug and play so wouldn't interfere with warranty I think. Contact details can be found in the comment section. Located in Cheras. |

wow so many new people here. haha
I would say plug n play brake lock + auto fold should not void your warranty, but if SC insist then still will be a problem there. I get 2k rebate as well but that's all, nothing else given. MissHanz, my radio doesn't display as well, only show freq no. I think just dont choose Metallized film as it is not GPS, smart tag friendly |

QUOTE(4555 @ Feb 12 2016, 08:58 AM) Yeah right, mine also..when i tried to zoom-zoom more than 160, feels like a bit hard to push that limit and the meter look slowly increasing the speed haha for a 2.0cc car with 165HP if not mistaken, not a problem. Just you have to know how to handle it and be safe. |

Well believe it or not I did pass 200, wouldn't realy say you need to push, it felt like how a myvi would accelerate from 120 onwards for the mazda's 160 onwards, I can only compare to myvi cause thats the only other car i sped in recently, when i reached 200 it felt like a myvi's 150, pushable but very slow progress.I needed to brake like 1 lamppost-distance before a car.. Well i'm worried about safety too.. And the cornerings i slowed down back to 120 maybe, couldnt really observe cause i suck at multitasking.. Heads up for those who wouldnt want to try, yes your brakes are super good but get ready for a strong burning smell in your car, my driver side passenger said its normal even his altis and cousins civic has the same problem, just floor the car for around 30 seconds straight for that smell haha.. Of course safety first, only reason why I didnt confirm reaching 210 cause toll was close and i was worried about stupid drivers flying to my lane nearby via subang exit |

I recently sent my car(CBU variant red) for repaint, the mazda's so famed red was soul red right.... But my documentation stated it was true red, checked online and turns out they are 2 different colours... Any other CBU got the same thing? And i heard form a lot of people that the CKD red isnt as nice as the CBU, so whats the CKD's red colour code?
CBU is A4A True Red. Isn't it suppose to be Soul Red? i thought they renamed it or something only... anybody knows if it a lot nicer?? |

Yes braking is good. haha. I don't have a good road for me to try here. Or maybe my ball not coat with titanium. haha Well believe it or not I did pass 200, wouldn't realy say you need to push, it felt like how a myvi would accelerate from 120 onwards for the mazda's 160 onwards, I can only compare to myvi cause thats the only other car i sped in recently, when i reached 200 it felt like a myvi's 150, pushable but very slow progress. What I can say is driving on hill road is such a good and nice experience on M3. QUOTE(sunnytkl @ Feb 11 2016, 06:47 PM) Just went 1k service this morning, using semi sync oil which is provided fr Bermaz. I don't think it is worth it. Sem-synthetic is good enough for your engine as you are not subjecting your car to high stress level like motosport racing. In terms of service interval you can't lengthen the prescribed 10K km/6 months either to make fully-synthetic worth it.But I was offered upgarde to fully sync oild with top up another 2xx. Does anyone using fully sync oil ? Does it really make any diff ? In term of fc and performance. |
