I recently sent my car(CBU variant red) for repaint, the mazda's so famed red was soul red right.... But my documentation stated it was true red, checked online and turns out they are 2 different colours... Any other CBU got the same thing? And i heard form a lot of people that the CKD red isnt as nice as the CBU, so whats the CKD's red colour code?
CBU is A4A True Red. Isn't it suppose to be Soul Red? i thought they renamed it or something only... anybody knows if it a lot nicer??
*
CBU soul red code is 41V

Hi, just came across this post by JDM Teknik

Pedal Brakelock + Autofold

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGdag9Q-kpE&noredirect=1

Cost is RM350 including installation. As you can see from the video, it's just plug and play so wouldn't interfere with warranty I think. Contact details can be found in the comment section. Located in Cheras.

Hi MissHanz! Thanks for the tips, was about to ask the same question on the location of the shop. What about auto fold mirror installation? Can it be done by this shop also?

Had the same question too but eu jin (the guy i'm contacting) seems very lc to reply. Maybe my question too stupid flex.gif

EDIT: He just answered; only comes together. But price is just la, one hour max to install. Won't void warranty (but he didn't say so, when I keep asking he just say ITS PLUG AND PLAY)

yaya the brake with auto fold come together.

Cause it's plug and play, but he cannot promise you wont void warranty, as it depends on the SA also.

You can't buy a new Mazda 3 CBU now. Unless you want to get an AP and import yourself.

Went into the showroom along federal yesterday. Salesman told me still got around 3 units of cbu left. Discount 12k.

i believe, this is be normal...
when i received my car.... it's shown ard 13-14l/100km... i think it will be getting better later.

so far my car's mileage is around 1300km, pumped 2 full tanks...
each pump around 40L that can last 500-550km with 60% highway and 40% city drive.

Sure, if their location is nearer than Cheras and price is nice I would really rather opt for others. Any idea where are they located? Free installation?

Bukit Jalil is close but I heard car volume is high, wonder how much they install for?

Anyone installed front sensor? Would like to know how it works, whether alert only or integrated with mzd connect? Australian version can install after market and still can integrate with mzd connect. Wonder if we also can do so.

There's one in Klang doing brake lock/side fold mirror: Shorty 5 Noise and Chassis Foaming Solution

Not all plug and play autolock/side fold mirror are brake lock type. The one by EA Autoworks in Bukit Jalil is gear lock type.

The front sensors I've installed do not integrate with MZD. It has a separate LED indicator mounted on the dashboard.

5 orange LEDs + 2 red LEDs. When you get closer more LEDs light up. The red LEDs accompanied with buzzing sound.

Hi all sifu, really struggle to choose between GL spec and high spec. for me I can live with without HID, 18 rim and all those auto gadgets such as auto rain sensor, auto cruise, HUD and etc.

Things that make me hard to choose are those safety features such as smart city brake, RVM and Lane departure warning since I am buying this car primarily for my wife to drive.

can all sifu here share with me your experience on using these feature?

1) RVM - Does it really helps when you do lane switching? will you find the signal too general since it is not only monitoring the blind spot but the general vehicle behind you

2) smart city brake - does it helps during parking if says I am stepping on the pedal slowly moving forward adjusting my car position

thanks for advance

RVM system will alert you with beep sound only if you operate turn signal to warn you to not switch lane because vehicles approaching from behind.

If you remain on current lane and other vehicles approaching from behind then rvm system only alert you with warning light on your side mirror.

I most of the time will ignore the warning light or just don't notice it. If went to cilok here and there during heavy traffic then this system very useful.

SCBS only work if your car at speed of 4-30 km/h. Only work if sensor which is at the top centre of windscreen detects any obstruction in front. If you park your car and nothing in front like wall or high gate then the system will not apply. I personally never try. Some people on Youtube had tested with dummy wall (big polisterin) and you can check over there. Not suggesting to test with real wall. Because this system is mean for real emergency break only. Hehe

LDW for me is very distracting unless u got drunk while driving then this system very useful lol
