hi guys ... im planning to get a Mazda 3 sedan CKD highest spec .. went to the showroom near my house but they said 2015 version has moved away waiting for the 2016 ... may i ask a few things ..

1. 2016 version , anything different ??
2. the climate control ... is it 3 knob style or 2 knob with digital number at the center ? i checked many photos it shows 3 knob, but the mazda 3 malaysia website shows digital w/ 2 knobs ...
3. is the HUD useful ? except from speed and GPS direction, what else they display ? lane departure warning ?
4. how much is a full tank RON 95 / 97 ?
5 checked many review, some ppl say the so called knock knock sound .. whats that ?
6. while driving ,is this car noisy inside ?

Mazda 3 website really confusing ... First is the wrong depiction of the climate control knob... I tot it would be nice to have the digital temp reading type like other countries ... Another is the colour, website showed colour available is soul red and titanium flash mica which in fact it doesn't have that colour ...

Another thing is .... How's the maintenance of the car ? Some ppl say the spare parts is more expensive than others ...

Im actually contemplating between HRV and M3... The former got waiting list 3 months , the latter can get in few weeks time ...

ya i checked , i think ill prefer to go M3 sedan .. only thing is .. the aperture of the boot is kinda small... i ride a road bike .. so im not sure whether can fit in or not ..

went again today and they say the 2016 model will come tomorrow ... only thing left is test drive and the rear seat ...

ya ur right too ... Mazda give free service not a single cent i have to fork out ... by the time no more free service .. ill think ill drive for awhile then change to new model again .. I prefer car with many technologies ...

Mazda 3 is really great, at the price , got so many i-activesense gadgets, mazda 6 high spec baru dapat those stuff ...

wanna ask, does M3 sedan CKD has daytime running light at the rear too ? i see those M3 on the road, got DRL at the front , but none at the rear ... or they choose to switch it off ?

actually i hardly can find any M3 on the road ... when i see also CX5 or M6 ... HRV , Civic , city is all over the place ... is that a good thing ah ? haha

can anyone owned a M3 sedan with colour grey and silver , show off abit ur car photo ah ... im choosing between these two colour but the showroom unit is white only .. so i wanne how it looks like in those colours ... forget about photoshopped brochure photos ...

finally after contemplating with other brands ... ive decided to get myself a Mazda 3 Sedan highest spec ... bought with Bermaz ...

already paid downpayment now waiting for loan approval ... meanwhile im not sure about which colour to take ...
ive already shortlisted to 2 colour , Aluminium Metallic or Meteor Grey ...
Meteor Grey looks okay, but very easy to see dust , Aluminium abit Proton Saga colour, "tak tahan tengok" ... guys give some input please ... if u got above mentioned colour, please show off your car photo ~

Does the colour of the car really affects the heat inside ?

The showroom only for meteor grey ... I'm waiting for next week for the Alu metallic to come ... But it would be good to hear some idea from you guys first

I think this colour looks good depends on what is it under ... if it under shelter it reflects slightly dark aluminium .. if under bright sky it becomes "Proton Sage" silver

can any M3 sedan HS owner confirm with me, the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) , according to the previous posts, stated that its just a high beam control ... but i checked the spec sheet, its stated AFS , and i checked AFS official mazda it is stated the tech that turn the headlight together with your rate of turn angle ... the high beam control is a entirely different tech from i activesense ... the word is clear - AFS, in the spec sheet ...

sorry guys ... because i was randomly reading all the posts from page 1, and someone brought the issue up regarding the AFS ... then someone said malaysia version one is just high beam control ... i was very disappointed ... because it was one of the major factor i chose this car ... now that you guys confirmed the right fact ... yahooo ... thanks ~

True . I will get a tint for sure ... But in this topic , someone before this raised an issue regarding the GPS and smart tag ... So which tint brand / model is confirmed no issue ?
If I go for waxing after I got the car for awhile , isn't it defeat the purpose ? Coz the car already have some scratches or marks ...

Can u show us ur cars photo of the cut hole ? Sorry this is my first time hearing ppl cut hole for the smart tag I can't imagine how it looks like ... So it only interfere with smart tag la ? GPS ok ?
Btw how come they still interfere one , tot in 3M website , they stated non metal based , won't interfere with GPS and tag . Can I claim warranty or even more extreme, a refund if I can't get what they promised ?

Another questions is ... Let's say the tint is good for smart tag , so u guys stick the smart tag on the windscreen ? The sticker won't damage the tint ?

No I never ... I only take them out when I need it ...but do u guys stick the holder on the windscreen ?

If it happened that someone with itchy hand slammed the smart tag , will the sticker pull the tint film out as well ? Haha
