Hi Maybank card holders,

Let say my MBB credit limit is RM 10K.
In order to spend RM 30K in a single swipe, Can I just pay excess of RM 20K into the credit card to make a total combined credit limit of RM 30K?

The purpose of this is to collect the TP points.

Thought M2C Amex is the best for reward, 5X points and 5% weekend rebate.

Now, not really meant for that anymore. Miss those day with cashback RM 50.00 monthly T^T

Just applied citibank card from my friend:
- Platinum, 5X point for major supermarket, free KLIA lounge
- Cash back platinum, 5% rebate for petrol, 2% for some pharmacy, 2% for some major supermarket, 2% for telco, 0.3% for other

Why can't there is no all reward in one card =.=

Amex card will be frozen in drawer for long long time.

So what's the next best credit card (or right now the best credit card) to get. I only tolerated amex for the 5% weekend cashback.

With that gone and tp low value I'm looking for the next best thing.

If your income is RM 100k and above then MBB VS and PBB VS will save most of your common troubles like petrol, dining, groceries and online bills.

If your income is lower than RM 100k, then hmm.gif Few cards to apply and you can start playing jigsaw puzzles to mix and match with your spending.

Instead of restricting the 5% weekend cashback to dining only, Maybank could have reduced weekend cashback to about 2 %, and the cashback is applicable to any sort of transaction made during the weekend.

That way, Maybank 2 Card Amex would still be useful for us. Sigh, it is just a wishful thinking. sad.gif
