In short, just pay statement balance on the date indicated on your M2U, known as payment due date.
Is the latest day to pay the credit card bill (without incurring late payment change) the payment due date? So, it is not a day before the payment due date, right?

For monthly autodebit payment for insurance, can we get 5% cashback and 2x Treatspoints using the Maybank 2 Card Amex?

Don't consider so long as u losing money now.

If your money are sitting duck at saving account, better put in fd or investment somewhere else smile.gif

I understand your point, but not everyone has at least RM 35 k in their saving account. So, having a PB VS is a distant dream for average joe like me. sad.gif

Looks like I'm moving on to Diners Club Premier Card to get my 5% cash back from dept. store.

Most likely, Aeon Departmental Stores accept Diners Club cards. Are Diners Club cards generally accepted in other well-known departmental stores?

Can we make a poll after this thread, just to see which card everyone is heading to? Haha laugh.gif

I myself is not sure what card should I apply as a replacement for my MBB2AMEX 5% :/ Guess I'll stick with the 1.25% (X5 TP) for a while till I have decided rclxub.gif

Yeah, there is an intensive discussion on this thread a few page back.

Still, I would like to know which card other people have finally chosen, particularly for the bill payment for internet and mobile phone. Not everyone has an annual income of RM 100k and is eligible for PBB VS.

But bear in mind there are restriction to this card.
Cannot use for buying alcohol, pub, disco

Can the Ikhwan card be used for buying non-halal grocery? That should not be a problem, since the transactions are traced by MCC, right?

I want to purchase several computer parts from Dell, and I will pay by phone with Maybank 2 Card.

1. What is the information that I should give to Dell Sales Person, for paying with credit card? For sure, I do not want to reveal more information than what is necessary.

2. Is it possible that the person on the other end of the telephone line misuses the credit card information for his personal gain? Is there any way we can prevent that?

Thanks for the answer. smile.gif

I bought from Dell before. I provided all information they need. You just have to trust them.

Thanks for the confirmation. smile.gif Which card did you use? Maybank 2 Card Amex, or Visa/MasterCard?

QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Jul 26 2015, 08:44 AM)
Most probably it will be MOTO transaction. ( Mail Order Telephone Order). Unless  verified by visa or secure code process the trnx. Then it will be considered online trnx.

I see. So, we cannot double check whether the transaction amount is correct, until after we get the SMS transaction alert later?

Alright, I will follow janson_kaniaz's advice and trust Dell.

Instead of restricting the 5% weekend cashback to dining only, Maybank could have reduced weekend cashback to about 2 %, and the cashback is applicable to any sort of transaction made during the weekend.

That way, Maybank 2 Card Amex would still be useful for us. Sigh, it is just a wishful thinking. sad.gif

If I opt to receive monthly eStatement, I can still view credit card transactions in M2U online website, right?
