When i register for MNP, the agent will check my IC through a system to see if i still have any pending payment from my previous telco.

May i know if we are able to check the same thing ourself through internet?

Yup. I just walked in to U Mobile store to ask. Was told one month too.

Question is, do I need to keep the line active when doing MNP? I have used the U prepaid for 7 days and I don't think I want to top up to keep the line active due to the poor 4G coverage at the areas I frequent.

May I ask? If there are two same telco sim card, can MNP?

Reason: want to keep old plan.

Theoritically mnp is switching telco provider, not plan

Well then, how to possibly change to old plan and keep the number?

goto celcom/maxis/digi and request port in. your prepaid needs to be active.

Got such thing like existing prepaid account needs to be converted into postpaid account first?
