anyone port back to maxis from celcom?. I went to the center and paid for 128 one plan and was told to wait for 1-2days. However until now the only message I got was "we have received your request to switch, pls call our cust svc immediately if u do not wish to proceed". at 5.30PM. There is no MNP msg that prompt me to reply YES. Should I give Celcom a call?

Porting out from Celcom doesn't require user to respond to any kind of message (except, calling 1111 if they wish to cancel). The transfer will be done automatically.. Unless there's any problem.. which you need to refer to the dealer/agent handling your number oh.. and by the way.. SKMM rules said that porting out personal number will take up to 5 working days This post has been edited by d3v073d_50uL: Sep 11 2016, 12:45 AM

If you already received the message, "We have received your request to switch, pls call our cust svc immediately if u do not wish to proceed", then you wait till another 6 hours try to insert your new network SIM into mobile phone to check whether the new network service already activated or not. Sometime it happen like that.

Others... usually the switch will be automatic... I'll normally ask user to switch their sim (old one to the new one) AFTER their current line has been disconnected (can't use to make calls / no line anymore)

Hello everyone, I have some questions regarding MNP here. Yesterday I submitted MNP requests to U Mobile for 2 numbers at the same time (around 3 pm), 1 is from Hotlink prepaid to P98, and another number is from DiGi prepaid to U28. The Digi number already receive messages from both U Mobile (received your request etc. etc., received in about 1 hour upon submission) and Digi (message on confirmation to leave), but the Hotlink number hasn't receive any message, even the one from U Mobile. Is this normal? Thank you so much everyone
