i don't think we should disallowed/limited topics related travel japan, it's suppose to be fun and joy. why taking it so seriously like someone acting himself as a boss here. we shouldn't control ppl mindset sharing info, it will stop if no one reply into it. I like ppl sharing their grandmother stories here, even though it suppose to be share in kopitiam.
*
It already have that section. If you want to share or discuss exchange rate go exchange rate section.
Plus that topic was pinned by Mod. It was major Topic section.

Same as u want discuss car you go car section. You want food you go food section.

Plus exchange rate I already post in 1st page. Just refer at Page1.

Ya, plus those shop only can sit 8 ppl. Night time whole area will full of people. Everyone will come here lepak for beer and snack. 15 years ago same, 15 years later also same.

I really love the environment of those small eating shops where you can see the locals sitting at the counter chatting drinking beer and enjoying snack food...and inside can smoking too!

Since it was at Odaiba, just do one shot together with visit Gundam. Go at Evening.
That onsen house not located at Onsen village. It was at city. Make no diffrence.

For discussions on the latest exchange rate or where to get the lowest exchange rate for JPY, please continue at the CURRENCY EXCHANGE thread.

Hi, I'm going end of Nov too in a group of 8. We will be entering from Kansai, then Tokyo. Does anyone knows if I can buy the Tokyo metro 3-day pass (1,500yen) before arriving Tokyo?

Online sources mentioned there are travel agencies who sell them only if buying with travel packages. Anyone knows if I can buy from JR West office? TQ

Once you arrived Tokyo just head to BIC CAMERA (many places also have), they have metro pass and SIM Card for tourists

Hi sifus

I booked my tickets to Tokyo narita airport for Oct but I just received email from airasia saying flights to narita will be discontinued and now have the option of arriving at haneda. However the arrival time at tokyo is at 10.30pm. Will this be too tight to catch the train to shinjuku area since the last train stops at 12am?

Alternatively what are the other cheapest options to get to shinjuku area from haneda airport at such late hours?
*
Check the Tokyo Monorail to Tokyo last train schedule, if you are able to make it on the last train then OK one.

Before headed to BicCamera. All this can from Hamamatsucho or Daimon Station. This station also everyone headed Tokyo 1st Major Station.

1st timer at Haneda Airport. Chances to get last Monorail train are less than 30%.

Better focus more on Limosine bus.

shiretoko national park
rashidi and rebun island
akan national park
noboritbetsu

public transport is limited in these national park side. by tours or own driving (expensive to rent) if can.

otaru can be done on day trip from Sapporo by train. very close only.

I tried to claim back tax refund at Haneda airport somehow it failed as the immigration officer removed my purchase receipt clipped with the passport. Also I couldn't find any tax refund counter at departure hall. Anyone having the same problem too?
