Cash better than credit card in Japan. In Europe they prefer CC. In Eruope even you buy a 1 euro stuff at Convenient Store also can used CC |

This thread really useful...back to here again to plan for next year Jun'16 trip to Osaka/Kyoto/Nagoya for 11D10N...how's the weather likely for 1st 2 week of June?
Last visit was to Tokyo May'2013 back then with joyful memory trips.... Lastly correct me if I'm wrong that Malaysian passport holder does not need to apply for VISA for less than 90 days stay right? This post has been edited by eric84cool: Aug 21 2015, 01:10 AM |

Hi, I'm going end of Nov too in a group of 8. We will be entering from Kansai, then Tokyo. Does anyone knows if I can buy the Tokyo metro 3-day pass (1,500yen) before arriving Tokyo?
Online sources mentioned there are travel agencies who sell them only if buying with travel packages. Anyone knows if I can buy from JR West office? TQ http://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/value/travel/ |

Hi sifus
I booked my tickets to Tokyo narita airport for Oct but I just received email from airasia saying flights to narita will be discontinued and now have the option of arriving at haneda. However the arrival time at tokyo is at 10.30pm. Will this be too tight to catch the train to shinjuku area since the last train stops at 12am? Alternatively what are the other cheapest options to get to shinjuku area from haneda airport at such late hours? |
