No need go so far. Okinawa are for medium wealth Japanese to enjoy Summer vacation. Most Japanese those work in Tokyo , Yokohama , Kawasaki will gather at Enoshima.

Just 1 hour away from Tokyo. Please refer to page1.
I already share this bikini info long time ago.

You reserved 2 posts few pages back but nothing yet?

Also wanna ask, did you ask for permission to take photo when you dined at Joel Robuchon (Ebisu) or no need?

Some fruits are cheap in japan though. Now it's summer and I highly recommend that you guys try their peaches. It's one of the best i've ever tried. Extremely juicy and sweet and fresh. The skin can even be peeled off without using a knife.

I got mine at ameyoko market.

user posted imageDSC05485 by zstan, on Flickr

another recommendation would be champagne grapes which usually cost a bomb in malaysia but i got a small bunch for just 300 yen.

user posted imageDSC06496 by zstan, on Flickr

but i guess there are not many fruit lovers like me out there. People usually go other countries to try out food and desserts but rarely their local fruit.  sweat.gif laugh.gif

agreed! the peaches are awesome!
if got chance, go pick and eat straight from the tree. Did that in Hokkaido, along with cherries and plums

Hmm...if AA, it cost me about RM600+- for a return tix for 1 pax. If you are just going to buy now, the price has already increased, last night I check, early April next year, cost RM2000++ for 2 pax return tickets

u can always try different combination of dates. maybe there still will be.
but u should ramp up your planning if you really would like to go during cherry blossom.

Accommodation pricing also goes up accordingly in that season.

So the earlier the better.

I plan to go to Tohoku region, next summer.
Planning to go to Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori, see Ama in Kuji, Iwate (blamed NHK asadora Ama-chan for this tongue.gif) and Tanabata in Sendai.

Normally, how far in advance i need to book my accommodation?
Aomori during Nebuta Matsuri supposed to be very packed right?
Any info about cheap accommodation in Aomori City, Kuji and Sendai?
Already checked about Toyoko Inn, if there's cheaper options then it would be better.

Quite difficult to find hostels in Tohoku region, no J-Hoppers and Khaosan GH branch.
