Anyone rent apartment for long term in Tokyo before?
Got any good and cheap apartment for rental for 1-2 month stay?
I found Sakura House seems very foreigner friendly, although price not very cheap.

refer to earlier question....if the rate is high then it's good for those changing JPY to MYR.

If changing MYR to JPY of course need to be at the lowest rate possible.

Actually for the past few years, yen is quite good rate. But now RM diving crazily daily, certainly not good time to trade most (or any) foreign currency.

Anyway, yen still affordable .. come to think of paying 100yen buying Daiso stuff compare paying RM5.30 here.. you will know you can afford the holiday still. tongue.gif

of course we know it's still affordable. we are just comparing to the rate we changed at 30.0 earlier this year.

Want cheap then stay 1 to 2 hour journey away from Tokyo City. Can found cheaper rate apartment.

I walked pass some property agent's office around Asakusa, saw apartment for rent from JPY40000 & up per month.
Of course that exclude water & electricity.
Further, not sure about the rental procedure, eg. how much deposit/advance payment needed.

Agent office at Asakusa means those property will be within Asakusa. Middle of Tokyo city sure expensive. Plus that kind of rental are basically one room which link as living room and kitchen , one toilet without bathroom.

If you want a apartment like Malaysia low cost flat 600sq ft , 1 living room , 1 kitchen , 1 bathroom , 2 bedroom will cost 160k yen per month.
