As per Kotaku, the claims are :

· Coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016, with a PC version being “negotiable”
· 1-to-4 players
· A sacrifice ritual allows you to enter other games, but puts a bounty on your head
· It’s now possible to create bonfires
· The world can be altered in ways that change the bosses you fight
· Players can equip “swordfighting arts” that act as special moves

Rumored to be announced in E3.

Nope...still likely you need to meet requirements or completing a quest line kind of thing. The only thing that was confirmed, gonna be like Bloodborne hunter's workshop-esque structure that connecting all the interlocking location and the usual basic buying/upgrade all coveniently at one place.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing IMO. I also like how the thief plays out and gameplay is a little faster now.

guys, this will be my first entry to the souls series (bought bloodborne but never got a chance/time to play it so i sold it).

since this is the third entry to the series, i would like to ask if im going to miss anything major story wise for not playing the first 2?

safely , i would assume most of the soul are related in some way, mostly NPC like Solaris , and couple of NPC will return.
Story wise might not be far from the dark soul 1,2 .

Jilake dont dupe people like that la, his controller will probably die later haha. Anyway Souls/Bloodborne games are tough, not many people can tolerate the punishment this game deals out. Storywise, me personally dont really bother about it, i just wiki them hahaha. I was more into the fights this game provides.

there's a rumor floating around everybody that's playing the game now as in the press copies and the XB1 eng versions is that they are playing the NG -1 meaning the game is easier.

probably stick to my usual wizard+warrior hybrid to cheese them

but I heard this time the enemies are coming in horde, not sure if my usual soul arrow can hold them back in time or not tongue.gif

Well dont mean to leak anything but the moves and weapons are better this time. Guess they use some of the Bloodborne mechanics. Bet DS3 will eat many hours..

I'm sticking to my usual Knight for early game, might try Herald class (great for beginners - good dmg/def & has a healing spell, so can save estus lol)

I'm big fans of Bloodborne, had pre-ordered DS3 and recently just bought DS1 & DS2. Just started my DS1, gameplay almost the same with Bloodborne but quite confusing at the item & weapon part especially the humanity... haha

^ yup Ds 1 is more complex than BB so you may need some time to adjust as the game is not that straight forward either. It's really tough and there are some platform stuff you need to watch out for.

Was playing DS2 and can never get use to fighting animation. Need to be very patience playing DS2. I still prefer BB. I hope DS3 will be very much towards BB fighting mechanics, which I think it is.

Depend if you like melee or range. Knight, warrior has some badass gears and weapons.

Battle mage for me is easier
range spell attack to snipe them off, and melee for close combat

for me warrior built is harder in the beginning, as usually you'll lack the ranged attack to cheese take out those more powerful enemies

It is either Knight or Warriors for me, Mage i think is for expert. Maybe you can co-op with us for range attack tongue.gif

GH's treatment of customer is not that friendly also compared to others. Just looking at the Dark souls 3 CE that i pre-ordered from them, they raised the price even for those that pre-ordered earlier after the supplier increase the price. Then what's the point of pre-ordering earlier? Other retailers chose to honor the same price as before which is i feel the better way of treating the customers.

yes, DS1 and DS2 are slower compared to BB

that's why I'm having difficulty adjusting to faster BB, and feels very very naked without my trusty shield tongue.gif

Quick question, if you bought R3 or from asia PSN store, is your default button for confirm and roll = X or O? I bought from US PSN store to get the pre-order bonus (which also appeared as first month bonus on Asia store...) and my default confirm and roll is X. I thought it followed console region rather than game region.

whereas US version will be X button

it's not following console region, but more on the game

this is the confusing craps we have to go thru for us cross region players

I didnt even finish DS2 also.... that game really no motivation to carry on... reach the poison valley there and loss all motives to carry on.

So for those that play DS3 is the game much faster? Becoz see those Youtube video feel like the character move faster and role faster too.

By the way, ds2 i play without using shield use both hand knuckles only, so when play BB also feel no problem.

U can get a free hit on him when you remove the coil sword and when hes transforming thumbsup.gif

Also hit him fast in the second stage because he can be easily staggered.

Really hate this. Wish Sony would solve it once and for all with a changeable option in-game. Now I have to use the accessibility option to swap 0 and X, which messes with everything else. Luckily DS3 will consume my life for the next 6 months or so tongue.gif
Also they need to fix the Asia PS store with pre-orders and more information. Not everyone wants to only play Dead or Alive 5 extreme swimsuit pack...

Haha style is important of sort to your own satisfaction. When you look at your toon. I actually restarted a Division toon cause i think the initial one doesnt look cool enough, even though everyone looks almost the same ingame hahaha

Shield up.. Wait for them to take the first hit. Study their routine. Best is wait for them to hit, block or roll and hit them from the back. Or best if you can kick them when they shield up. Kick will stager them.

Purchase the white soapstone from the old lady in Firelink shrine.

You can only summon when you are in Ember form (burning), you can be summoned in either form. If you successfully beat a boss in Co Op you will be restored to Ember form

Just started the game last night. Can sense that this is definitely tougher than previous games. First boss already took me more than 10 tries due to his variety of attacks, range and long / short windup combination. That and playing the deprived class as well lol.

My character body got some flame and vigor slightly longer. The health statues turn to fire logo, but after death the logo turn back to moon shape type. How to have the fire logo back ?

U mean after death? When u die, u become hollow. Use Ember to recover HP to actual length. Only use Ember when need to. Be wise when to use.

You use the ember to change into Lord of Cinder mode, with enhanced HP and fire burning around.

Beside Ember, you can turn into Cinder mode if you join Co Op as phantom and help beat the boss

Ember is not used to summon phantom, but you need to be in Cinder mode to do so

White phantom - Normal phantom not in any covenant (I think)

Gold phantom - Player in a CoOp specific covenant (think Confederate of Bloodborne)

Red phantom - Invader

Finally after the hecticness that is bloodborne , sniping from distance feels like finding ur best friend again.
But I think the devs are limiting that with only 99 arrows and storage of another 99.

Some tips for you guys. Undead and human generally are afraid of fire, so fire weapon or even torch are very useful. Remember to buy torch

And when you are holding torch, you will reduce the bleed buildup, very useful in Cathedral of the Deep

after a week of training, level up, gaining souls, back and forth between high wall and undead settlement, lure knight to fire breathing dragon, cause fire dragon to kill all those dumbass for free souls....... i only start to explore up to Emma the High Priestess, going to fight Vordt later tonight.... hahahaha....... level 35 now... not tried the online thingy....

I doubt so.. I done that in DS2. Just start as new game and you will have different character. Thing about this knight or warrior toon, need lots of vitality to carry those heavy armor. Those gears are insanely crazy weight.

Yes Dancer is one of the pain in the ass... You only get to meet him 3rd quarter to the end game. There are few more. The prince and dragonslayer also pain pain..

Ok.... I beat vordt in total 8 slashes with the dark axe in just over 1mins... I think i overleveled myself after the n times of dead beginning of the games

Had some fun playing as Mad Phantom from Mound Makers covenant. For those who join this covenant you can leave purple signs and join worlds as purple phantoms.

As purple phantoms not only you can aggro and get damage by enemies, you can attack the host and his allies too. Hence the word 'mad' lol

Imagine a 3-way fight between purple, red and white or host lol.

I'll have to say this game got a lot of bug, mostly the online component..

Sometimes I summon phantom, end up they were unable to join boss fight (cant enter fog), making my life miserable due to bosses having more hp.

Also sometimes I invade as red phantom, the monster will turn on me, and I cant kill them, or I invade as aldritch, the monster will suddenly turn on me.

From Software please fix your game~

Not advisable to go for the heavy armor unless u want to farm souls and lvl vitality. I believe HP and stam is more important..

Heavy armor looks good but fat roll very bad for us.. Hehe

Ok.... Killed the ugly tree with many testicles... So easy comparing all the 2 bosses it just it has more hp to deal with, it is slow and pretty much didnt deal a songle hit to me coz i am so Dex'exy.... Level 41 and wanderring around to see hidden path. Sometime i hate those msg on the ground to spoiler u to move there... Even u didnt read those msg but u know there is something there....

Anyhow not to show those msg??

Are u sure it's a bug? If u summon purple phantoms they cannot enter the fog. Though in very rare cases when u enter the fog before they appear they also cannot enter.

When u invade as red phantom and monsters turn on u is because they use the seed of tree giants which can be found outside firelink shrine (exit at the top just before the tower to the crow). This seed causes all monsters to attack red phantoms as well. It has a 10 percent chance to spawn whenever a person gets invaded up to 50 percent after 5 times until it appears and will reset again. Look it up.

Maybe they r trying to patch the password matching. Since they r quite a few complaints about it. Hence the delay. Hopefully they are doing this so my lvl 19 character can summon additional help. Hard to find players in cathedral of the deep for this 😝

So...I farm myself a Dark Sword after hearing it was really good.

It was ok, I guess? Stat wise I think it's better than standard long sword but I love the long sword's guard break ability.

Any tips on using Dark Sword?

Ya meh..I dunno got such mechanic. No wonder 1 moment I'm happily camping with the monster, the next thing they suddenly shoot arrows at me.

But I'm pretty sure some of summoned golden phantom cant enter fog (or in some cases like this 1 bosses that transport you to another plane), also I have never summon purple phantom, I got enough trouble as it is lol.

Is it just me or the thread kinda quiet? Last time bloodborne thread was so active

The bosses so far have been kinda meh..I have reached the catabomb skeleton king. I don't really have a HELLYEAH feeling when I won. Hope the bosses to follow are good

Just killed the skeleton king last night as well.. I have to say both deacon of the deeps and the skeleton king does not gives a satisfying feeling when defeating them. I am at around Lv4x when killing them though. I am wondering if it is due to my brute strength warrior build that makes these bosses easier for me.

I misses levels like sen fortress, very small area yet very deadly.

Compare to DS3 almost every area is like a big plane~ but I do like the catacomb because of its single bonfire connecting to all.

Yup sens fortress is a truly unique trap area. Chalice dungeons (some layouts) feel similar but nothing as fearsome as sens fortress

Cruse - 1 try. (Why is this even a boss?)

Let's hope nameless king and co is as fearsome as ppl put it.

On usually at nights. What level ur at? I'm 25 with my best weapon at +2 so may take a while to connect if ur like way higher. Just opened up catacombs. As I said before i don't think anything can be as fearsome for veterans of the game. Want a challenge? Play at lower levels / naked / only using one weapon, Etc.

This game is so damn good, Its my first game on the ps4 and I'm a first time souls game player. Yes it's extremely difficult but it has so much depth to it

bro, most of the bosses in bloodborne took me hours to days, die many many times to defeat....

dark soul 3 until now half way of the game, max i die 3 times, half of the time i manage to KO them in first try.

some i dont even need to move or dodge or defend myself.

Different people different playstyle, but maybe experience from bloodborne makes you play ds3 better now. But I also think that souls is actually harder than bloodborne, especially with the ability to recover health by counter attacking. Cursed chalice dungeons on the other hand is a different matter haha, that one really painful laugh.gif .

Lol no they don't. If it was me I would say hi, kill some mobs for u then backstab u (sometimes).

How we play purple up to us but for technical info :

1. Purple phantoms take damage from anyone and can aggro all enemy mobs (they target him as any normal phantom ally to host).

2. Purple phantoms can damage host and its allies (which means u can actual lock on them as well).

3. Purple cannot enter boss areas and will return if host enters boss area (wish it would allow - it would be real grief).

So essentially this leaves up to how people plays purple phantoms. Imagine white, red and purple in one session. That would be real chaos lol.

Lol not most annoying but easy once u get to know how. My lvl 25 fire broadsword wielding character stuns lock those pontiff knights easy. Whack 4 times retreat. Rinse and repeat. Switch to deep battle axe vs the silver Knights for stun lock effect. Rinse and repeat.

The invisible mobs are easy. You can see their eyes and shoot them. Compared to the ghosts from dark souls 1 they r child's play.

Never really liked the Dark Souls series as a whole after coming off from Demon's Souls, but did started DS3 yesterday and yeah... everything seems a little off for me. I much prefer the more offensive playstyle of Bloodborne.

That said, DS3 does have a lot of nice qualities to it. Level design is top notch stuff as always.

Haha my first game was bloodborne.. when I first started I almost gave up. . But ended up plated it. It will be easier once you understand the basic mechanics

Speaking of chalice bosses. It is one of the most interesting content. I remembered waking up at 7 am and face the same boss until night time haha.

old hunter is the expansion/DLC for bloodborne. it is not really a complete game. There is one Bloodborne the old hunter edition that includes the base game + DLC

Hey I just knocked him off this afternoon as well. One of the few definitely hard to solo at low levels coz need to keep an eye out of the abyss phantom that spawns.

When the epic fight was over after about 10-15 tries both of us were like HELL YEAH!

Yes it comes with both. Btw if u do get old hunter together try to get some of the newer weapons when playing ur normal play thru. The newer weapons is very fun

Did a video on how to take out the Dancer of Boreal Valley. Host was SL20, and I was the sunbro phantom at SL25.

Was hoping to fight Vordt but so many ppl summon me to fight dancer. Don't they realize below SL 40 is underleveled vs dancer and even the wiki / Guides recommend above lvl 50 before taking him on.

Anyway, this fight requires lots of patience & discipline. Two of us were taking turns baiting him and swinging 2-3 times before backing off. Rinse and repeat and its easy.

Low stamina consumption + stunlock + WA that damages though shields. Really liked my Heavy Spiked Mace, but after getting my Refined Estoc, invasion spirits are having a hard time with me lol.

Do you mean my Spiked Mace? It has awesome area attack WA, fair bleed buildup and A scaling after Heavy infusion. Plus I really like the Zweihander moveset, and the heavy hitting sound it makes, but it's really limited to strength builds.

OTOH, Estoc is C-C on both Dex and Str, so Refined is naturally the best choice for infusion. And it's especially effective for my current quality build.

All in all, depends on what you like best. No right answer.

I see, maybe you're asking me, of the two, which is OP?

Actually I don't think Thorn set is OP at all. You'd need three friends to pull of the rolling gimmick; just one doesn't deal enough damage output. Also rolling doesn't stagger other players I think.

Although I have to admit whoever invented the rolling gimmick is a freakin genius.

Tried for so long yesterday despite meeting the requirements, I simply cannot locate the summon sign of my friends. It just doesn't show up.

Yes yes, host ember form enabled, boss in area not defeated, blah blah blah, everything is correct. But then PVP in and invaders are ok, dafuq?

I guess ur using password matching? If no password mAtching then depends on ur level and weapon upgrades restrictions.

Assuming u r using password matching, make sure u turn matchmaking Option ON if ur both playing different regions (eg R1 and R3).

If that is fulfilled then choose a remote place to put the sign. Avoid bonfires and boss entrance. The algorithm I suspect FROM uses first is matching within levels before using password. So it can take up to 10-15 mins sometimes to match.

My SL 25 can't find summon sign of my friend who is SL125 at the church bonfire before pontiff boss fight. When I relocate to somewhere halfway within the boss at a corner of a shortcut, he appears within 10-15 seconds.

Ae bonfires can be quick for example at carthus catacombs and profaned capital (I suspect hardly any mp activity here) but popular spots like pontiff or vordt Etc can take some time.

Yep, I was having issues yesterday summoning my friend as well. Wasted so much of time and only able to summon once...then he had to die. And my sign refuse to appear on his side so we both gave up.

Never had this problem the past few days. Usually it's instant.

When yesterday?, had no problems at all between 9 pm till 2 am. Within 10-15 secs he appeared. Beat Yhorm, explored all of profane capital, get all +1 & +2 rings and all boss weapons, and doubled up my consumables.

I still think its the area where you want to connect.

I think you're right about the placement of the summon sign though, will have to try in some secluded random area later.

So was going looking for sunbros to join me to kill Aldrich (am still lvl 25) and waiting patiently at the anor Londo bonfire with all my matchmaking turn on and waiting for a sunbros sign to turn up. Put on my Aldrich faithful covenant at the same time thinking why not pvp a little.

In about 2.5 hrs of waiting I claimed about 25 dregs invading ppl as I was called to defend against the faithless. Literally every 10-15 seconds I was called to defend the area and stopped once I hit 30 dregs to get all the covenant items.

All my invasions are so hilarious :
1. Most time is 2v1 on my side. Never seen a dark moon or blue sentinel appeared which only makes me conclude that most ppl if not all never put their way of blue sign on.

2. Some times the host just died either killed by mobs or someone reach and killed him before I do (free dreg for me lol)

3. 2 disconnected on me.

4. 1 was a full party of 3 persons.

5. There were couple of instances where it's 1v2 with half the time I won (either I killed him luckily or the mobs does him in) and the other half I got wasted lol.

All in all I roughly estimate I had a 80 percent success rate in getting the dreg.

Seriously fun though when I was ganking someone.

Is it me or early level of DSIII is easier? I've defeated 4 boss (if u count the demons on the bridge) effortless. I admit i watch a lot of utube but i'm not a good at memorizing .Maybe later will be hard for me?

Try not watching anything prior to play other parts. By watching videos you know what to expect already from the game, like having a sixth sense lol.

Probably a combination of u and DSIII. Wait till u reach the other cinder lords bosses.

Then again if ur a veteran of souls / bloodborne it will seem easier. Always the usual dodge, whack routine for them boss fights

So far, the easiest boss is crystal sage one. I do play DSII and bloodborne before, so maybe that's true, but I got to say there's a lot of bonfires especially (so far) in Farron Keep. I left the Cathedral for later. One thing though, what is the ability to creates bonfire? Is that just a hype?

Hype I guess. For sure I cannot create a bonfire lol. When u get to catacombs it's only one bonfire and some other areas as well

Yeah, we don't exactly get to "create" a bonfire but merely to upgrade it with bone shards.

Guess there was a confusion prior to release or that feature been removed entirely.

Damn the only thing keeping me from getting all rings/spells is the Darkmoon covenant. Didn't know it linked with Blue Sentinels and I started too late. Farming Silver Knights for the covenant item drop is such a pain, and the auto-summon feature ain't working for me in Anor Londo (only summoned once in 3 hours-ish). Could be because I'm level 119 tho sad.gif

If u clear up everything before beating the dancer (u will know when u see it) and explore every hidden path and kill every monster (there r 1 or 2 that drops estus shard ) u can get up to 13

1.04 lag... Can see it lag easily b4 the dragonarmor fight, where there are lots of fire and smoke in the area before entering the fight.....

Not sure is 1.04 but 1.03 is ok to me even in smoky areas

Twin Princes were awesome. Got my ass kicked by the teleportation but once I learned the pattern, it was an awesome fight, well balanced and exciting.

In contrast, the Nameless King was such a BS. The second stage was exciting and challenging. But the first stage with the dragon. Awful camera screwing around and weird depth perception of the dragon head. What a bad fight...worst boss for me imo

Nice. Was helping a friend kill twin princes. Poor guy took 6 hrs before I turn up and turn those 2 boys to Swiss cheese. Me was sl30 and he sl37. When it was my turn killed them on first try. Pretty cool boss fight. Now clearing up everything before nameless and final boss.

I feel both are just about right though I'd give bloodborne slightly on the harder edge because there is not much choices u have in taking down the bosses.

Dark souls 3 u can spec ur character to be warrior or spell caster or archer and that gives u more choices on how u wanna take down the boss.

Go for dark souls 3 if u want variety (tons of loot, weapons, armor that means a difference, shields, etc)

Go for bloodborne if u want a lite rpg version of devil may cry / ninja gaiden.

Thanks for the information. How about the pace? I heard it's slow in DS2 but they make it faster in DS3. I don't like to play chicken with the shield and would prefer a faster pace of game. Definitely giving DS3 a thought.

Pace definitely much faster than dks2. Some enemies u have to be aggressive or they will combo u to death. I don't recall any boss here u can cheese ur way thru except for one (but the approach itself is really memorable).

To me it's very well balance and the sheer amount of weapon variety and enemies means multiple ways of tackling it though I believe most of us vets would rush in and roll around to take them out.

previous bosses prior to this are quite easy, beat them all in 1 try except Iudex Gundyr.
Vort, ballsacs tree, crystal sage and deacons of the deep are really easy until this bad ass here. But the satisfaction when you put him down is just too damn high

The only boss i need help from phantom is dragonarmor.... The rest is hard but managed to kill after 2 you died... the dragon i no idea how difficult coz i cheated to do a 1hit drop kill...

I hate the dragon part. Awful camera angle. When I beat him I find no joy, just glad that it is over.

Anyway, I beat the game. I think overall I prefer DaSII, but this is a good one too

Some thoughts:

1. Wasted lots of points just so I can wear my nice armor

2. Feel bit easy, but maybe just because I'm used to the soul game.

3. Area wise, I find it not so original. Lots of the area reminds me of bloodborne. Irithyll looks absolutely beautiful though

4. Enemy mooks are ok, manageable, some borderline on being extremely annoying (the flame throwing birds in Irithyll dungeon)

5. Bosses are good overall with some BS ones. Highlights are Abyss Walker, Pontiff (got my heart pumping), Twin Princes (difficult but fair and quite creative), Red Knight (not difficult, but lore wise and the pace).

6. Did I mention how much I hate the Nameless King fight?

7. I like that Embers are in abundance, though I don't often use it anyway.

8. NPC quests could use some more instructions. The quests make no sense without using a guide

Google it up. He does something to u that creates gifts dark sigils in ur inventory. It's a long story so just google Yoel questline.

I find dragon armor easy. Nameless was tough and so was pontiff.

But I don't fight solo in all these coz I just completed the game at SL 30 albeit with a +6 weapon (wanted to do a +3 but I accidentally picked up a +3 weapon which screwed up my plans to wreck havoc on noobs in the beginning). So coz of low lvl I tend to summon help (I believe am helping sunbros accumulate their medals though). And my help are still low level phantoms so still need some amount of skill coz any of the later bosses can 1-2 shot kill you.

I was stuck in that dungeon with Fire Demon after you had to kill that worm things. That ambush goat is so damn fast. And being a sorcerer is not going to help. Even I think I'm a bit over level (60) at this point. Can someone help me go through this dungeon later? cry.gif cry.gif

Which dungeon is this? Or is it a large cave u referring to where u beat the huge sand worm and face the boss called old demon king?

The other dungeon I can think of is the catacombs of carthus where u will need to cross a wooden bridge and claimb down and face a regular fire demon. You can cheese that one with bow or spells (since ur a magician). Or if u have 1-2 persons take them on head on.

For this boss, just summon an NPC to assist. Fight will be much easier. Stand under him and watch his swing. Occasionally he will do stomp and this is the time u stay away from him. Nothing too difficult here. Wear high fire resist gear helps here..

First phase, just hit the dragon head. Thats where is he most vulnerable. Watch for King's attack at times. Pretty ez to dodge. When he take off, just turn your camera while standing still. NO need to run around. DS3 is one or two hit boss then dodge. Patience is key.

Erk...the catacombs... well actually i'm stuck with that running goat. that think can easily run towards me, hug me and instant kill. and it's hard to cast a spell since he run really fast.

Those mobs are quite annoying lol.. Just block with shield or dodge. Learn their pattern of fight. Let them hit first. For caster u can still equip shield to block.

If the goat runs to u just fight him with ur sword or something. Can't be too hard unless ur did not level up urself.

I can never get him to be in position for me to kick down and pretty clumsy at that. Best way for me was just lure him to the doorway at to the firelink shrine. So I just whack him once or twice and run in. He does not follow in and you can actually just hit him at the doorway.

i see lot of familiar places in dark soul 3 , like the cathedral of deep , is like the opposite of anor londor staircase of death , 2 knight shooting dragon slayer arrow at you , but cathedral of deep is you going down staircase to kill 3 archer n 1 spear guy.

it's like they took alil bit from each previous FS game for some parts of DS3. i just noticed how Dancer of Boreal Valley appears is similar to The One Reborn in BB.

BUT

i'm not bashing coz Miyazaki definitely did it right and with a good result. (Unlike that piece of shit Yui with DS2)

Manage to kill Dancer and help people kill her, 2 hours kill her and manage to collect more then 200k souls. Now I'm not even clear the cathedral part and lvl 70. Damn. But is this cathedral part necessary? or just extra boss?

Hi guys, I have only just beat the Abyss Watchers at Farron Keep and then the Deacons at the Cathedral.

I don't like spoilers but I have one very important question: Later in the game, will I be rewarded with a nice chest (like in DS1) *cough cough* Gwynevere *cough cough*

I use estoc myself. With knight slayers ring it breaks shields easily and leaves one open for riposte. 1v1 vs estoc still got chance but 3v1, hmmm

At SL 80-120 with 2-3 phantoms and maxed out weapons, he's like a punching bag. At lower lvls with at most 1 phantom (I beat him at 35). Of course the hardcore that beats him at sl1, what most ppl don't know is that it can take couple of hours to get it done.

Have you raise a bridge/wall (near the second giant) when you were inside the cathedral?

If yes, then you would need to go up and he will stand near the bridge/wall while wearing the armor.

Yes u missed patches. U will need to go to up the tower near the firelink shrine. By the key from shrine handmaiden. Go up the tower and cross the bridge. U will see him at the end. Talk to him then just continue straight.

Get out of there, and then find him in firelink shrine. U can then buy the armor of him.

Man, I hate when people invade in Kiln of the First Flame. Happen to me a lot yesterday while helping other player killed that Lord if Cinder. End up my poor host gangbanged by invader, I can understand they invade during at certain area, but at Kiln? Come on man.. some people just want to get over this game bangwall.gif

Thankfully, other than Estoc-wielding invaders, every other invasion has been filled with wannabe Gatts. Use Greatsword, chop one time then zero stamina. Man the idiocy in this game is unmatched.

Blue is freaking hard, been on it for 2 days, didnt get summon to help.

Lot of mistake did i, lost a tit chuck in the irinthyll dungeon. Killed the giant then fell to death, cannot find the giant drop.

Yeah. Know what u mean. Maybe u wanna try using blue sentinels. They give same reward. I heard the queue is shorter there to be summoned. Sunday night left my character idling for 6 hrs. Got summoned once.

Farm anor Londo silver Knights faster. Already put in 8 hrs there and got 25 concords

I notice if u r blue and anyone invade u still get reward.

Yesterday went in to a fight was so hectic, all color come around, host,white,golden,purple,red,and purple blue, all rush here n there. One whole mess but I was purple blue , didn't stand a chance.

When in Aldrich covernent , when summon you r blue with border red. That make it purple.

I also sorcecer,where u get bullied?

Normally when PPL invade I lIke to use camouflage, just sit in corner wait for them to pass , or self quit.
kinda like mind fucuk them.

Normally around the archive area. Which is annoying because people tend to hide behind the crystal sage. If 1 on 1 I got no trouble though. Just use crystal homing soulmass then prepare with soul dart and pinch them with estoc.

May I know your build though?

Me SL82, pure INT , mosly go for normal vit, end,att.
bare min on str and agi.

Need 12 faith though to use astoria straight sword, infused it with raw damage 322.

Might use pyro too , swap swap a bit.

Same like me, but I might over lvling my INT. Currently INT-99, Vig, Etr, End- 33. With Faith - 13. I just for black magic, it was 50-50 for INT-Faith. And I use Estoc which is life saving since I can spam R1. But astora look tempting though.

Same like me, but I might over lvling my INT. Currently INT-99, Vig, Etr, End- 33. With Faith - 13. I just for black magic, it was 50-50 for INT-Faith. And I use Estoc which is life saving since I can spam R1. But astora look tempting though.

I got simple estoc, against pve not that great.
Cant stagger those enemy at ludric, estoc need to pair with attack persisnt ring.

My game anri is lost , after I kill his bodyguard , he not able to find. In catacomb only got a green prism stone.
Went to church of yorksha still cant find.

Hey guys, is there any way to undo joining Rosaria's Finger covenant? Whenever I need to summon NPCs.. I don't have the option to do so maybe since joining this covenant.

You can change the covenant emblem but that in NPC quest line you missing I guest. So I think you need to play new NG+?

Pretty much done with the game. Now waiting for DLC. If anyone wants stuff just holler at my psn ID below and get ur mics ready.

I have :

1. All consumable (99 embers, seeds, branches, resins, souls, etc).

2. All weapons and armor (most unupgraded).

3. All rings.

Don't mind passing some or all of the above along since someone earlier helped me. Pls do have a mic and we will party chat as I'm pretty lazy to type stuff into the msgs.

Are you the one who keep discard item at kiln of fire? Someone last night keep throw away swords and armor, and most of them are +10. If yes got to thanks you. LOL.

Were you able to platinum the game? If so, do you have to get all 4 endings or you can get 4 endings by playing through NG+? I just dont feel like starting from scratch again biggrin.gif

Like Kira said you can backup ur save and replay final boss fight. However u need to follow the

I did it all in one playthrough and am still in Ng. I need to go Ng plus because of a gesture I missed early in the game but can speed run thru it easy. That's only trophy I left for plat.

I think the ending trophy can be done easily via reloading saves (or finishing the game 3 times)

but the major problem for me is concord. I've never been summon at all sad.gif .

Farming Silver Knight give me traumatic stress like when i was farming for pure blade stone in Demon Souls bangwall.gif .

atleast replaying the game is more fun.

Just got my 30 concords 2 nights ago. I think about 7-9 hours and 5 mil souls of farming. Better than the pure blade stone coz I did pure blade stone in 2-3 hrs still nothing.

At least concords tease u by giving out one very 15-30 mins of farming and make u feel like sure can easy later on. Until u realize 8 hrs has passed lol

Keep at it, i'm at 19 now and going in between farming for covenant materials.

Yeah i think the shackle can also be farm like that same as using rss to get

pale tongue killing the host. There is also some enemies drop the shackle

in catacomb of carthus. I completely miss this covenant on my playthrough though.

Sure hit me up. Can't promise when though but if I'm free online we can do it. Just put on ur mound makers and put ur red sign down. Pls have a mic ready too yeah.

Did that with a fren couple of days ago and complete about 18 shackles in 30'mins (give or take loading times)

For pale tongues or human dregs or wolf grass just invade as will in anor Londo or Farron keep. I got 30 in about 2-3 hours. My SL is only 35 though when doing it so most times I met solo players and have other invaders with me. Heard if ur higher level u may face groups instead.
