previous bosses prior to this are quite easy, beat them all in 1 try except Iudex Gundyr.
Vort, ballsacs tree, crystal sage and deacons of the deep are really easy until this bad ass here. But the satisfaction when you put him down is just too damn high

Were you able to platinum the game? If so, do you have to get all 4 endings or you can get 4 endings by playing through NG+? I just dont feel like starting from scratch again

If you have given the armor to onion bro before sending greirat for treasure hunt, he should have returned once you defeated pontiff..
Otherwise,you can find the corpse of greirat just outside of the kitchen where you met onion bro

I think you need to send Patches to save Greirat. Or if you follow Siegward quest and not kill the giant yet, he will be save by him.

Nope. Sorry I mean Yhorm the giant. Do you see Siegward in Irithyl? If yes then he can save Greirat. And after you forgive Patches and he will sell you some stuff like Armor of Catarina. After you send Greirat, you can talk to him and he will said that he want to save Greirat. So basically you have two choice here.
