Well dont mean to leak anything but the moves and weapons are better this time. Guess they use some of the Bloodborne mechanics. Bet DS3 will eat many hours..
^ yup Ds 1 is more complex than BB so you may need some time to adjust as the game is not that straight forward either. It's really tough and there are some platform stuff you need to watch out for.
Just started the game last night. Can sense that this is definitely tougher than previous games. First boss already took me more than 10 tries due to his variety of attacks, range and long / short windup combination. That and playing the deprived class as well lol.
Finally after the hecticness that is bloodborne , sniping from distance feels like finding ur best friend again. But I think the devs are limiting that with only 99 arrows and storage of another 99.
Ok.... I beat vordt in total 8 slashes with the dark axe in just over 1mins... I think i overleveled myself after the n times of dead beginning of the games
Yup pretty over leveled. I killed him at lvl 10. And now roaming around cathedrals of the deep at lvl 19.
Had some fun playing as Mad Phantom from Mound Makers covenant. For those who join this covenant you can leave purple signs and join worlds as purple phantoms.
As purple phantoms not only you can aggro and get damage by enemies, you can attack the host and his allies too. Hence the word 'mad' lol
Imagine a 3-way fight between purple, red and white or host lol.

I'll have to say this game got a lot of bug, mostly the online component..
Sometimes I summon phantom, end up they were unable to join boss fight (cant enter fog), making my life miserable due to bosses having more hp.
Also sometimes I invade as red phantom, the monster will turn on me, and I cant kill them, or I invade as aldritch, the monster will suddenly turn on me.
From Software please fix your game~
Are u sure it's a bug? If u summon purple phantoms they cannot enter the fog. Though in very rare cases when u enter the fog before they appear they also cannot enter.
When u invade as red phantom and monsters turn on u is because they use the seed of tree giants which can be found outside firelink shrine (exit at the top just before the tower to the crow). This seed causes all monsters to attack red phantoms as well. It has a 10 percent chance to spawn whenever a person gets invaded up to 50 percent after 5 times until it appears and will reset again. Look it up.
Maybe they r trying to patch the password matching. Since they r quite a few complaints about it. Hence the delay. Hopefully they are doing this so my lvl 19 character can summon additional help. Hard to find players in cathedral of the deep for this 😝

Just killed the skeleton king last night as well.. I have to say both deacon of the deeps and the skeleton king does not gives a satisfying feeling when defeating them. I am at around Lv4x when killing them though. I am wondering if it is due to my brute strength warrior build that makes these bosses easier for me.
Or maybe all of us are experts at the game already. There's only so much variety before it becomes repetitive.
Heading to catacombs now. Did all previous bosses at lvl 19. Forced to now reframe it to lvl 25 due to drawing true strength from Yoel
