Look at the images, 2 years general + 10 years for AC compressor.

I use a Hitachi washing machine. Yes, they give extra 6 months warranty if register online. Just ensure your retain their receipt so you can show proof when service technician calls.

Thanks to your post.. I was considering Panasonic 1HP R32 standard a/c for my guest room..then once I read your post I remember Panasonic only has 1+5 warranty.. using it for my master bedroom. Guess I'm gonna get Mitsubishi Electric 1hp R32 standard for my guest room. Got 2+7 years warranty. Hisense only 2+5 warranty..but cheap lah

My house really rojak air con. 2HP Panasonic inverter for master bedroom, China York 1.5HP for kitchen, Hisense 2.5HP and 2HP for living and dining..and ME for guest room coming soon. LOL.

Just wanna check, my aircon from mhi srk series 1hp bought around 4yrs ago, anyone know if the unit can use r32 gas without modification?

Panasonic can extend warranty.

First time heard can modify aircon to use different gas?

Theoretically R410 is a mixture of some R32 + some other gas.
If the world shortage of R410 I think you can still run with R32, but since its not world shortage, use the correct gas, later the internal organs lack lubrication or run too hot or compressor work 100% because cannot achieve R410 pressure kah, as we are not using as what the engineers designed originally.
Cos R32 and R410 technical characteristics are different.

Samsung aircond wont get much feedback here since many are too afraid to try.

My model is different, it is the triangle model with inverter deluxe. Personally I really like it but I do think it does accumulate mold quite fast at the blower. At first, I ask the technician to clean it. Later I begin to find video teaching how to took it apart, and spend an hour to take the cover off to clean the blower myself (since it has grill blocking brushes from getting it). After cleaning, it kept giving me error after turning on for some time. It took a few days for the error to go away when I almost called technician to come and fix it. Overall, Im pretty satisfied with it and I dont think there is much difference between Samsung or other brands out there.

When I first bought it, I thought it has WiFi which would allows me to turn on the aircond before I returned home (there is no wifi though). As for outdoor unit, I think every unit is really silent when new, and after few years, it will get louder. I think part of it is due to the capacitor degrading and fan bearing getting worn. I think it is better to focus on the cooling capacity (BTU) rather than comparing the noise.

I engaged Dustbox to clean one round.

Thereafter instead of [Cool] - >[Off] - > [Auto Clean], I use [Cool] - >[Auto Clean] - >[Fan]. Set fan blower at max speed and set off timer 2hours. After 2hours, it will revert to Auto Clean for 30 minutes before powering off. The dust accumulation rate had slowed tremendously.

When engaging Auto Clean without powering off but instead choosing another mode eg Fan, it will stay in that mode. Time it to turn off after 2hours. After which it will resume Auto Clean which seems to be the penultimate function before powering off.

R410 = carrot susu drink
R32 = pure carrot juice

i see, i am thinking of environment, so if can switch r32 why not haha. can try ask when next time pump gas. but i think most likely my MHI unit is R410A right? r32 unit just came into the market recently?

The usual warranty covers all parts mostly for 1st to 2nd year, if extend up to 5 years, atleast you dont have to pay for those parts for the next 5 years.
