Theoretically R410 is a mixture of some R32 + some other gas.
If the world shortage of R410 I think you can still run with R32, but since its not world shortage, use the correct gas, later the internal organs lack lubrication or run too hot or compressor work 100% because cannot achieve R410 pressure kah, as we are not using as what the engineers designed originally.
Cos R32 and R410 technical characteristics are different.
*
i see, i am thinking of environment, so if can switch r32 why not haha. can try ask when next time pump gas. but i think most likely my MHI unit is R410A right? r32 unit just came into the market recently?

OMG
1. there will be two sets of wires, one row for indoor, another row for outdoor, please follow the colour code for wiring all the way else it will pose as a hazard to the next guy who service your aircon. Its just like traffic lights, red means stop, red cannot mean go.
2. That red wire is stripped (exposed) too much.
*
i think the guy is pretty ignorant about how he mix match the standard color code to respective terminal (blue to negative, brown/red to positive, green to ground).

anyway, looking from the photo he attached, end to end i see the connection is tally. so not sure what is the problem. When u cant troubleshoot urself, save urself some precious time and get aircon technician to identify the problem. time is money .

i wanna ask, for multi split unit which only have 1 outdoor unit. if open only 1 split , then the compressor will run already, this mean the electric bill is high? first time came across this. the developer gave multi split unit for my condo.

Hi Everyone

I just bought Panasonic inverter Deluxe X series A/C and then my installer say Inverter A/C need extra charges for installation because need to
include somethin called "Hak Foh" in cantonese, the extra charges is RM125 per A/C. Does this makes any sense? I thought regardless Inverter or Non-inverter they were the same rate.

BTW the unit I want to install is just a <1000sqft Condo
*
i know inverter need thicker copper maybe thats why? wat is Hak Foh if translated?

guys, if my home aircon mitsubishi heavy industries 1.0hp inverter, around 5-6years already, when i set 26c at night and i turn on 3d auto, i feel like the room abit warmy. i didnt turn on my fan cos i don feel like got fan blowing me when i sleep. does it means the unit maybe too low power for my room? or the thermostat for aircon got problem? if day time normally i turn on aircon 12pm-5pm i put 26c, i saw power consumption from my smart plug it almost always run at 800-900w/h.

last i ask aircon service guy to do service they clean but macam no topup air or wat.

There is another possibility. When the ambient is too hot, your AC capacity actually is reduced because the ability of the heat rejection is being reduced. The AC unit should perform well if the outdoor temperature within the factory temperature test range , if the ambient temperature exceeded the factory test range, indirectly the capacity of the unit will be reduced.

During the night time, the outdoor ambient is easily within/below the factory test range temperature , hence there is no issue arising from the possibility of capacity drop.
*
okay, but even night last time put 25-26, is okay one. now feel diff abit. outside ambient temp lately around 30+c when hot but last few years doesnt have tis problem. my unit is MHI R410A model maybe 8years edi i believe.

QUOTE(mini orchard @ Feb 27 2022, 08:42 PM)
Do a proper service. Make sure he takes down both indoor and outdoor umit to clean. Tell him you want that way and no other ways. If he say no need, find another technician. Let him know b4 he come over.

Whether there is gas leak can only find out when he takes down the unit and will let you know.
*
ok thanks. will ask them do thorough clean. i ask my friend recommend another service guy, he did say should be dirty need clean and got ask me what model also. hopefully is good tis time.

You can see from the photos the original 1.5hp piping and the reducer connector to the 1hp compressor.

if soldering ok shudnt be issue. more important the tubing thickness is rated for your aircon system.

wanna ask, my current rental room which i just moved in using AUX brand 1900w aircond. the problem is the indoor unit is buzzing badly especially when compressor kicks in, which is kinda disrupting my sleep. may i know what is the possible cause? especially at night the compressor will stop and start more frequently thats y i cant really sleep well. i never heard such buzzing on my 10year old MHI aircond.

Inverter or non inverter?
1900w = 2.5hp seriously use in bedroom ?
Why no consider Inverter , since AUX are very very cheap already
*
non inverter, not my room lol, i rent only. but thinking to ask owner to change cos really cannot tahan the buzzing. i think the room used to be living room, thats y the aircond on and off compressor very frequently when i set to 24c also same. but then doesnt feel like 2.5hp, maybe old already. weird thing is i see the outdoor unit macam quite small. can the blower is 2.5hp but the outdoor unit they swap with smaller one?

my previous room i rent, they use carrier, not so annoying, no much noise when kick in, and summore is old aircond. this AUX one really annoying.

Get any inverter unit should be good and much much comfortable and energy saving. Just make sure don’t install Panasonic. Go for media or Haier is better

Non inverter aircon only available in Malaysia, Singapore discontinued more than 10 years ago
*
and available in Brunei lol. i see here all china brand like TCL and AUX.. but i see AUX so noisy, dunno their AUX inverter ok or not.

hi, finally my mhi unit broke down after 10+yr. Flashing six times so should be pcb board gone.

My aircond guy recommend me take panasonic if wan inverter, but the cost is like more than half of the other china brand. He said panasonic inverter less problem and more spare parts.

But i am open to option:
Hisense 1.5HP R32 Inverter Air Conditioner (TU) HSE-AI13TUGS Senq rm1699

Panasonic X-Premium Inverter R32 1.5HP Air Conditioner CS-XU13ZKH-1 Rm3.2k
x-deluxe 1.5 inverter rm2299

Or any other brand can recommend
