Hello,

I also want to buy a GPS and I cannot find the shop in Lowyat, which floor? is it 2nd or 3rd? I have been turning around for 20 Minutes. Any other shop in KL?

Thanks .

Added on June 21, 2008, 5:00 pmI got my answer from the malsinmap, in kl there is AECO and also one shop in wisma central.

Thanks.

hey guys, I m using Garmin MXT on my Diamond. Works like a charm, locks sattelite signals in no time..... mapking is kind a slow as compared to garmin .... and a dumb question... Agps and the quick gps is the same thing right ? coz i was using nokia e-90 in the past and it had A gps and i read that diamond has A gps as well but in the programes menu in the diamond its called quick GPS so i presume its the same thing....

One more thing, does anyone of you know of anyother maps software besides garmin, mapking and google maps ... I would love it if nokia maps were somehow available from windows phones .... can it be ?

If GPS map, there is a lot of company offer the service. But those you said are most popular in Malaysia due to it map details when compare to the others.

So far I never knows other device than Nokia can use Nokia Maps.

hi, i just got my tytnII like a week ago.i installed mapking 2007 with malsingmap where it says in the descr mar 8,2008 (i suppose thats the vers when it's last updated).some times the gps tells me to turn the wrong direction whereas theres no road turning into that direction.it's also displays no road or junction, only the accented lady keeps telling me 'please turn right in XXX meters' with no apparent reason. i find this very confusing. i tried navigating back to my house and it's like pening and show me a very long route plus asking me to u-turn where there's no place to do that.lastly, i think my gps not quite accurate. it cant decide which road i am on when theres a parallel road about 10m to the side.can gps sifoo here please enlighten me on these issues?

oh ya, how do i move the map in gps mode to see throughout the entire route the system has decided for me,apart only the road name listing?

u cant move the map in GPS mode. I think your map is very outdated. go to malsingmaps.com and see if problem persists. PS: i dun listen to the voice, it tends to be wrong. takes some getting used to listening to the instructions. better u see the map. the pararrel thing problem is normal. GPS accuracy is within 10 metres so bound to have that problem.

after going through the options i found the routing feature.actually i could view the whole route from there, plus can do simulation..maybe i need to dig in mapking deeper to find some , 'hiden' feature.still trying to get to get used to the small scren though.finding it hard to read the map

Good for you... Since Mapking manual was hard to find, you need to play around the software a little bit. That what always do. But already give up on Mapking since it can't my own map on that software.

This is da msg i gt from support@malsingmaps.com

3) Now, be careful here. The built-in GPS receiver in the HTC diamonddoes not transit signals in Garmin format to the Garmin XT software. So, you have 2 choices. Either go get an external Garmin 10x receiver( http://www.garmin.com ) or go buy a Garmin mSD card and slot it intoyour HTC's memory slot. This mSD card does the conversionautomatically from non-Garmin signals (as received by your built-inGPS receiver) to Garmin signals that the Garmin mobile XT softwarewill recognise.

Is it true? If it is, den wat other gps software can b used in htc diamond?
