nope..it will direct connect to gps satelit at out of space..no need 3g or gprs or wifi

Some PDA use A-GPS. This type of service use your telco service to expedite satellite acquiring and off course it will charge you some amount.

i am using a gps bluetooth module with my rx4540 pda...i just need to install the map to pda..and connect the gps module to my pda..then can use d...no charges also

In order to use GPS service you need GPS Device and GPS Software (+ map). AFAIK Mobile XT from Garmin have version for palm user. Check here.

u can either use mapking or Garmin maps, both oso very usefull...any question, can jus pm Deani_77, he is GPS expert here...

I have not using Mapking for a long time. Have you try searching for English version of Mapking from their site?

Their earlier version (Garmin Que) already can speak. How can Garmin make Mobile XT without voice guidance tongue.gif

It a paid software. You can get it from Garmin website. It free if you connect it to Garmin BT GPS (Mobile 10x).

how come my garmin xp everytime i wanted to start using it, it will seaching for satelite bout 5 min?
is it normal or just becos my area has low gps coverage?

if let say im from pj wanted to go pj hilton, how am i setting the location of hilton so my gps will lead me the way from my current location to pj hilton?
