1) GPS only free, A-GPS need to pay on usage basis
2) If you are planning to use Mobile XT software my recommendation buy Garmin Mobile 10x very simple to use with the software.
3) I suggest you to visit either Malsingmaps.com or Malfreemaps.com for more exposure on GPS.

1. You can read more about A-GPS here...
2. Mobile 10x was BT GPS receiver. You can connect it to Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm phone and you can use Mobile XT for free. Navigation software and map will be install on the phone.

Hello, I'm having abit of a problem here.

I'm currently using an Omnia 2 phone. I have sucessfully installed the Garmin software. For the first few days, I have been enjoying the GPS getting green signal.

Then today, suddenly the signal just went blank. It's not red color or anything, it's just blank, not a single bar. I've already left the GPS on for 11 hours and still not getting any satellite signal.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i have seen and tested the papago x3 for winmo 6.5.
works perfectly.

1 second tracks possible.
poi search in under 2 seconds.
prediction indexing not available as compared to standalone unit.

junction view and 3d buildings no problem.

smoothness, yeahhhhh !

tested and approved on my gf's htc touch2.

pros and cons definitely got.

pros - poi searches are wayyyy quicker than garmin
junction views and 3d buildings.
tracking available as opposed to the android version.
chinese character recognition is awesome. its built separated
handwritting.
landscape view and portrait view available
TMC function embedded in

cons - drains battery
stewpick lady is long winded
poi categories are crap
TMC not available in malaysia or singapore

Added on December 5, 2009, 2:39 ampapago software available at pcfair hall 1.

http://www.m3asia.com/index.php?option=com...ow&catid=1:news

RM99 then after this pcfair no more promo liao is back to RM 150.
available for android and winmo only.

any question u refer to their booth. the winmo edition i played with has more features than the android.
maps as usual provided by mfm.

if u ask me is it better than gmxt, i'd say slightly.

the poi search is under 2 seconds unlike gmxt which takes forever. i have played with many units and i kinda fell in love with this one. its much better than paying USD 99 to garmin.

Hi, a quick question.
I have garmin in my experia. Working perfectly previously. Last week I change the map and using the latest one by malfreemaps. Unfortunately what i notice is I cannot find minor roads anymore. Anyone have this problem before?
