Just download the APK from APK pure.

guys hdtv sports channel ok, but astro channels some missing, so yeah thats my experience so far
make sure you guys deactivate auto update, follow this guide here. (later if tm update the stb all ur apps will hilang)

hdtv, just used the trial version, doesnt have astro oasis

Actually our STB can playback 1080p...using KODI will give you that.
Earlier on I tot it can't do 1080p, but later, I found that is not the case.

Care to enlighten? Only on Kodi app or once modify will apply to all apps?

the off-road apps are like that lah. not always OK. keep calm. they will be back.. hehe

Just to report back my progress...

I don't know what's wrong (or what's right) but just now I power up this HyppTV box and I saw several icons at the bottom of the screen (something indicating updates available for my Apps). Out of curiosity, I try launch PlayStore and heck, it's working fine now!

Immediately, I hook up my keyboard & mouse and the very first thing, I search for es file explorer, and it installed successfully.

Then I return to my PC, go to Kodi official site and download the APK, but the download speed are very slow, I got around 80KB/s. So I go back to HyppTV box, open PlayStore and search for kodi, and I install kodi from PlayStore without problem.

But I have a question though, if you can install es file explorer from PlayStore, why some of you need to "sideload" Kodi using USB drive instead? I checked the version from the APK and version in PlayStore, they were same version.

Side load the KODI apk because of using nightly builds. I am using nightly builds here.

Just sideload a YouTube apk. I used the above or you can find from APK Pure and look for this version. It works well on my side.

I lost my HyppTV remote control...

how to use the new stb, got one from "friend"....
my current stb is 2nd gen, grey (without channel num)...
i try plug it, enter username and password, can't connect...
they bind my id with current stb isn't it?

Yes, HyppTV is bound to your account, you cannot use it on another box.
I also have it from my friend, only use it as Android TV. More than enough for me.

How to unbind it from my current stb....?
It's good to have both HyppTV and Android in one device....

I don't think it is possible.
I don't even bother the HyppTV channels, nothing interesting for me. My IPTVs and other movie apps are more than enough.
