After 18 times tried than baru berjaya....

what I did was follow the 1st youtube tutorial but hit the "Error retrieving information from server (RH-01)" at PlayStore

so.. these steps might help:

Go to Settings.
Click on Application Manager.
Now, scroll right further to open All tab.
Now, scroll down and look for Google Play Store app. Click on it.
Here, you will see three buttons – 1. Force Stop, 2. Clear Cache, and 3. Clear Data. Click on them in the given sequence.
Now, go back to All Apps list and follow the same steps for Google Service Framework and Download Manager app.

switch off the stb.. just plug out the power cable for 10 secs and connect back...
once rebooted... wait until the wifi connected first and launch the playstore

once connected to playstore.... search for Kodi and install.... rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Hi all,

Been reading this thread a while now.. not sure if here is the correct thread to throw a question.. please bare me alright..

One quick question: Anyone here downloaded Astro On The Go app in Playstore and link it to your Astro account (or friend account if you'd already terminated Astro service)?

One could safe money by using friend's Astro ID (with their consent) and enjoy it in your STB under TMUnifi line. You'll got the best of both world....

Haven't done it myself cuz I don't exactly care about Astro's premium services.... However, it shouldn't be an issue provided the app does run properly on the box's hardware. I mean, the whole point of the AOTG app is for subscribers to watch media on the "move". So I doubt Astro would discriminates when it comes to what device is being logged on... I stand corrected if someone knows otherwise.

Yes, I thought about it and there might have some codec or plugins restriction... But for sure we could use PC or laptop to launch IE, Mozila and Safari.

I just got a very good friend of mine sharing her Astro ID with me..

Attachment shows Astro allow up until 3 authentication/registered devices to be loggin for this On-The-Go service.

Well, FYI I'd terminated my Astro long ago and just wish now I got the best of both world.. umm to be exact free Astro.. huhuhu..!

Getting the best of both worlds isn't entirely bad.. tongue.gif.. Do be careful as according to the attachment, upon attempting to register a fourth device, one previously authenticated device has to be removed. This change can only happen ONCE a month.

Is it true that if tm updates the firmware for this box all apps installed will be block and unusable ? I just install myiptv on this box and the guy who supplied me the account told me to disable the update by deleted the IP on the update system settings. But the problem is after i turn off the power for the box a few times, the IP that i deleted will be back on its own.Is this the correct way to disable tm update?Anyone else facing this problem?

Yes.. that's why my friend isn't use her ID for the Astro on the go at all. It's kind of her letting me use it now..

Just tested yesterday night after got home. Our playstore in Unifi STB doesn't allow to install Astro On The Go app. It's says incompatible. So I downloaded the apk using browser and transferred it via USB thumb drive and installed. Installation authentication with genuine ID all worked well.. streaming astro sports channel is absolutely beautiful..!

Can you navigate AOTG with the HyppTV remote? I found it quite troublesome. I plug in a mouse to use AOTG.

Now I am thinking to terminate my multi-room subscription, and purely us AOTG in my room for Astro.
